FYI, thanks to Synergy Stats I was able to detect that Kemba Walker is currently having a better success rate at running the P&R than Chris Paul and Deron Williams.

At least he has SHOWN UP..I'm not saying he's killing, but nobody on this site thought when we got Mullens in that trade that he was going to play this good.

    LOL!

I didn't mean to start a shitstorm over it and I've not noticed them ignoring Mully that blatantly in other games. Like I said I put it more to them just being worn out AND the coaching not pointing it out. I mean...does anyone really think that if Dunlap hadn't said to them "Don't ignore Byron on the P&R" that the guards would just blow him off?

    I don't...not with this coach.
Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker

if you could post a link (not sure if it is a paid site and won't let you), i would like to see it to see how the stat is calculated. i suspect, that kemba's massive improvement thus far this year in finishing his shot is the reason for the improvement. if that keeps up, he should continue to be up there league-wide in the stat. if not, he will really fall.

again, my main concern with him as a future cornerstone starter at pg for the bobcats, is his court vision. but, as of right now with the big improvement in his play, i have no problems with him as the starting pg as long as he continues to improve his shooting efficiency and continues to finish at the hoop. i think he really needs to add a pull up 5 or 6 footer instead of always driving and shooting contested layups on multiple bigs (see end of minny game).

I am so thankful for illegal pirated video. I've been able to go back and download all the games I've missed. And I've been wondering while watching the games who the hell gave this tall sum bitch the green light. Grown up no shooting Leave it to Beaver lookin ass...God he is killing me. I used to look at the box score in the morning and be in total disbelief that they let this man shoot so much. Looking like Andre the Giant anorexic son. He has the Boris Diaw curse

He makes me angry in my face
As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it

I fully expect anywhere from 6-10 more 3's tonight from Byron. I think this will be the strategy from Dunlap to keep Ibaka out of the lane where he is a threat to block shots.

I hope he can hit half of them again tonight...

Kemba is currently ranked the 30th best P&R ball handler statistically while CP3 & Deron are 33rd and 39th respectively.

It's not a pay site. Follow this link: http://mysynergysports.com/
...then enter Kemba Walker into the 'Search' box
...then click on the 'Offense - Plays' tab and look for 'P&R Ball Handler' statistic. 'PPP' (points per possession) is how it's ranked
...then add a name into the 'Search' box in order to make comparisons. You can only enter one comparison at a time

Wow. If you are that angry, I think you might want to do something else other than watch the Bobcats. Dunlap gives Mullens the green light because each night he generally has the biggest mismatch since he can take his man out from inside the basket. It also is opening up lanes for Kemba and Ramon. If he doesn't keep shooting, this offense will fall apart and teams will just pack it in. With very few outside shooters on the team Dunlap knows Byron has to play a huge part.

thanks. just went there. my employer will not appreciate you sending me there.

one great example of what i am trying to point out. p&r video: missed layup. ignore the end result. the wizards game was not a great shooting night for kemba and not his average thus far this year.

notice how open haywood is on the roll. he has two chances one before vessely gets to the elbow on the help and the other after haywood dives a little bit and kemba clears the double. instead he takes it all the way for a very contested layup. i would really like for him to feed the roll. he constantly misses this because he is quick enough to get the rim almost every time. it is a far more efficient shot for haywood to take it. later in the game with it on the line, i don't have a problem with hero shots because that is who kemba is.
