Default Looking to take a trip to Charlotte

    Hey Bobcats fans!

I am planning on taking a trip over to Charlotte either at the end of December or in January and I may need your help. I will be traveling from NY and I may need help with picking a hotel, finding good places to eat, etc. I traveled to Charlotte about 3 years ago on my birthday and I remember where what was, but I was with my girlfriend at the time so I could not explore and go out to bars, etc. If anyone who help me that would be great, I would love to meet up with you all at the Cats game.

dunhill hotel. not bad price and great rooms. right up the street from the arena. you can walk anywhere downtown and don't have to worry about parking. there is a brewery (it is a chain type deal but still good food) right next door, irish pub across the street. all walkable.

If you're not loyal to any specific hotel brands, I'd go on Hotwire or Priceline for a hotel. It's pretty easy to find good deals as there are plenty of hotels in the area. Any Uptown (Downtown) hotel 3.5 or 4 stars will be fine and within close proximity to the arena.

There's plenty of good places to eat and/or bar hop. Let me know if you have any specific requests (food/price point/crowd/etc.) and I can make a good recommendation.

Aloft Hotel at Epicentre if you're a young guy. 5 minute walk to the arena and everything you want is right there. Plus they are trendy and not too terribly expensive.

Let us know what game(s) you'll be attending. I'm always down for a BCP meet-up before tip or during halftime.

We usually stay at the marriot in uptown. It's within walking distance of alot of things and the rooms are reasonable. Anything at epicentre is good too. Definitely check out rock bottom brewery, bar charlotte, and the the entire epicentre complex. They're all good bets!
