    I think Hendo is now expendable. Utah is looking to unload Alec Burks. Minny is going to loose Roy I think to retirement. Maybe they give them an exemption and they would need a scorer. Ben Gordon to Minny while we get Burks, Big Al and or Milsap. I would prefer Big Al as he is everything we need. We then have depth at all positions while not giving up much, maybe Diop, Gordon and picks.

    I mentioned the prospects of us getting Big Al or Milsap in another thread....those are the 2 guys that i am eyeing...the only problem with dealing Gordon for those guys is.. 1st that they are both unrestricted free agents this summer and 2nd..Utah wont really want Gordon this year bc they already have 22 million coming off the books with those 2 guys so they arent really in need of an expiring deal...our only real chance of getting 1 of those guys is to sign 1 of them in the offseason ( not likely bc of their options ) or sending 1 of our players and or picks in exchange for 1 of them ( obviously only if they agree to long term deal be4 trade ) ...

    Both of those guys are big time players and would make our team better overnight...we have the $$ to sign them and its something we should seriously consider but im afraid we would have to give up alot bc im sure there are several teams interested in those guys....im pretty sure they are dealing Raja Bell so they will need help at SG...so it would prob cost us Henderson and a 1st round pick ...if Jefferson or Milsap agreed to a long term deal in advance would u guys consider that deal?>....say Henderson and the 1st round pick from Portland ( which will be between 14-20 ) ....if it were me i would do it...bc Henderson is expendable and a pick from 14-20 is not a guarantee by any means...would rather have a proven guy like 1 of those 2 ( who are both only 27 ) rather then hope and pray we get a good player with that pick

    I would prefer Milsap over Jefferson and if we could pull it off our lineups would look like this

    Starters = Pg-Kemba Walker , SG- Jeff Taylor , Sf- MKG , PF- Milsap , C- Haywood
    2nd unit = Pg-Ramon Sessions , Sg-Ben Gordon , Sf-Tyrus/ Free Agent or draft pick , Pf- Mullens/Biyombo , C-Biyombo/Mullens

    this does not include our draft pick and or other players we might sign.....Pretty solid team in my book...with a year experience together and addition of Milsap and others i think this is a playoff team ..thoughts ??

    Burks isn't as good as Henderson on offense and twice as bad on defense.

    Roy's contract has plenty of insurance and the contract has a team option for next year. They don't need to move him at all. I do think Minnesota would be interested, but they'd no doubt be looking to unload Derrick Williams and... I don't think people realize how far he has to go.

    Roy isnt worth the trouble....the guy is already hurt and wil prob retire again...trading Henderson for Burks makes no sense....why trade him for another SG who is inferior

    Couldn't see the Jazz wanting Hendo tbh..Too many guards, but on the other hand they do have too many big men also..

    they do have a decent amount of guards but not much quality....word is that they wil be trading Raja Bell so that gives them 1 less guard...im sure they would be open to improving that position...if we did make a tradewe would have to make the salaries work..so my theory of Henderson for Milsap wouldnt work...at least im pretty sure thats how NBA trades work....a better trade for us that would actually make the salaries work is Henderson and Diop for Milsap and say Randy Foye ( who is expiring ).....or if they demanded a pick we could do Henderosn / Diop and Portlands 1st for Milsap and Gordon Heyward ( who is a pretty good player and could be MKG's backup @ SF

    Jazz wont give up Gordon. He's very well liked in the state of Utah.

    Well if they wont give up Gordon then we coould do the other 2 deals.....Henderson and Diop for Milsap and Foye ( expiring ) or if the cap allows it...a 1st round pick ( Portlands pick ) for Milsap...obviously depending on him verbally agreeing on a long term extension

    They literally paid Raja to go away at the beginning of the season.

    They'll never give up Hayward either... Only person I could see leaving is Jefferson.
