http://www.nba.com/rookie-ladder/Nov. 28 -- Before the season, if you'd told me a player from Vanderbilt would break out, I'd have said it would be sharpshooter John Jenkins, whom the Hawks took with the 23rd pick.
But the Bobcats may have found a steal from Vandy in the second round -- Jeff Taylor. Taylor, who grew up in Sweden where his father, Jeff, played for several years after a brief stint in the NBA, was taken 31st overall, but has quickly established himself in the Bobcats' lineup.
Taylor has started 11 of the 12 games and has been a big reason for Charlotte's success, thanks in large part to his defensive prowess.
Taylor has consistently been matched up with opposing team's star players and may be the Bobcats' best defender, which is saying something with fellow rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on the floor.
But Taylor's not just doing it on defense. The 6-foot-7 swingman is averaging 11.8 points in his last five games while shooting 47 percent from the floor and 50 percent (8-for-16) from 3-point land, earning him a spot on the Ladder this week.
It's still early, but Taylor's making a solid case for top sleeper of this draft class.

I sent in an email to te guy who writes the ladder asking him to watch the Toronto game an watch jeff's defence on derozan, he replied saying he will do... He was obviously impressed!

It is very possible we got 2 top 10 picks in this draft.
Well damn
Honestly, The rookie ladder (Minus davis being injured) in my opinion goes:
Lillard, MKG, HB, Jeffrey, JV, Singler, Waiters..No need to include anyone else, there not important lmao..
Glad my boy Jeffrey is getting his credit, i'm too hype for our future.
@Bobcat8...dont forget about Barnes.....he is playing well....averaging nearly 11 points and around 14 over the last 4 or 5
Love it! So glad to see him get the recognition he has earned. During that travesty in OKC, when JT was matched up on KD, I thought he did a damn commendable job. He bodied him up each time, never let him drive past and contested his jumper (and got called for a weak ass rookie vs. superstar foul)...can't ask for any more than that. I just loved the chops he showed out there when he was on KD, like he was craving that assignment.
