The two plays that really stuck out for me last night was the give and go out of the post to Ben Gordon in the 3rd quarter and the scramble on the floor and flicking the ball out so that we could maintain possession in the 4th. I really love this kid (and Taylor too).

With MKG & Taylor both seemingly so far ahead of the game for their years in the league and Kemba's surge this year (and now suddenly 0-man's recent progress since the leg contusion), we have such a great core group of youngsters. Hard to not be excited about where this team is heading.

still loving him. he really kept the cats close tonight. i loved the way the team, and especially mkg, knew thompson couldn't hold him. he sat down in the long post and went to work. then on defense it didn't matter if he was on thompson or barnes outside or when he had david lee and landry he gave them fits. such quick hands and great positioning on defense.

he looks so natural when running the break.

when he fills out, look out.

Youngest player in the league. He is going to be a beast for the next 12-14 years...

absolutely. very proud to wear his jerseyshirt at the game. and i blame dunlap for getting behind big early when he took mkg and kemba out 5 mins into the game when our mojo and energy was high. why he does this on occasion i dont know. but when MKG was out there including the entire 4th he was a true difference maker on both ends and it was a thrill watching him work in the post. i know MJ had to be miserable sitting on the bench but u could tell he knows he's got something special in MKG. it was palpable in the arena tonight that the energy and juice was there when MKG and Kemba were on the court. he's not an official captain yet but it's obvious he's a hell of a leader...at 19 and a couple months. Love him!

Is anybody else worried about injuries with MKG or is it just me? The guy plays so hard. I've seen him grab his back a couple of times after going down hard and that troubles me...

Nah, not worried at all. MKG moves around all the time like he's hurt. That'a just how he looks. He might have a sore back thought.

the only thing that worries me is if he routinely plays the pf on defense. it is just too easy of a mental picture to flashback to crash getting knocked out cold.

I think MKG will be somewhere between Andre Iguodala and Lebron James in his career. High character young man, with a desire to improve. He loves the grind and individuals like him are very hard to come by. High reward player with a bright future. Thank God they didnt select Thomas Robinson, he not doin well and he acts just like Demarcus Cousins. Smh

I like that the first thing he's trying to add to his game is the post up. Jumpshooting is something you can improve on easily on the offseason with reps, but posting up is something you have to learn from in game intensity. Everyone criticized LeBron for never working on his post game now he's pretty good there, same with Durant. hopefully that will speed up MKGs developmental curve

agree, I love that the couple of things he is really good at so far are the things that usually come later for most good players. Ability to drive and finish with contact, play tough man defense and now working on an iso post game. We've all said it, (and said it every day about Wallace) if he learns to shoot with any kind of consistency .. watch out.

side note... I laugh every single night when I see him walk. He comes in for warmups, or off the bench like he is 115 years old. Its hilarious, its like he can barely hold himself up, but then the whistle blows and he's totally normal.
