Agreed. Get this man some more assets to work with and just see what he can do. I believe we're in good hands going forward with him.

All kidding aside- I think Kemba is a better pg than Felton has ever been.
It is hard to judge based on that! Every once in a blue moon, I still wonder what the purpose of the spin was. To confuse the defense with an out-of-place spin? To cause a vortex and pull his defender in? To spin so fast to go back in time just to get a few seconds back on the shot clock? We'll just never know.

have no idea why he gave the ball up to mkg at the end when there was no ball pressure and shot clock was off...but i wholeheartedly agree with the message of the thread...kemba's the best! gets no love from the refs but keeps on grinding.

He was CLEARLY hit 3 times and he got no call. After the 3rd he bitched, got the technical and started to get the calls. Vet move there...kid is learning all facets of the game.

Wonder when we get our apologies from the NBA?

Kemba gets hosed by the refs. Its sad because hes not a superstar, they won't treat him fairly and give him the free throws he deserves for getting into the paint and getting contact so easily. Someone needs to tell those douchebags its not bailing him out to give him calls, he earned them. He should near top of the league in FTAs for the way he plays.

We have a good one in Kemba. Agreed that he is the best PG we have had as a Bobcat. And although our very tough and painful losses this year hurt, I am very optimistic. Two losses were bad games - blowouts. But we have won close ones, and lost close ones. We are competitive, and Kemba is a big reason. Add the youth of MKG, Biyombo, JT, Henderson and Mully and the lift we get from Ben Gordon and Sessions and we have a team that fights hard and makes an opponent earn their victory. And if we somehow land a Top 3 pick in the next draft, we may very well be able to add that missing piece - a young superstar - that makes this young team a truly competitive team fighting for a respectable playoff spot for many years to come.

These are growing pains. They may hurt, but at least we are growing. And for this, I am thankful. Good games to watch.

Kemba playing like this is what I expected of him coming into the NBA since we drafted him. It's really no surprise to me. I'm pretty sure it's a smack in the face of all of his many doubters though. The kid is just living up to his potential. He was a McDonalds All-American coming out of high school. He went to the Final Four twice in 3 years of college and won a national championship & tourney MVP. And now he's trying to become a All-Star at the professional level (even though being realistic he might be about 2-3 years from actually doing so). This is his trajectory

Absolutely. And you know what really pisses me off is how in the Blazers game, Lillard, a fucking rookie was getting every damn call there in the 4th...calls that Kemba rarely gets as seen in the Knicks game. I voiced my displeasure and caused a few around me to blush a little but that was so frustrating why this asshole rookie gets more love from the stripes than Kemba when Kemba is the more aggressive driver throughout the game.

    I want that apology!
