He's played well enough to get the spot back. All things even, you give it to Hendo over Taylor for leadership. I'm happy either way.
I was going to post this earlier but, forgot...
During Dunlaps post game press conference last night he was speaking on Hendo's game and said that "he will go back to where he was soon" ( you cant tell without the context but , he was saying that he will be going back to the starting SG position)..
Thoughts?

SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
I like Jeff in the starting lineup. He plays within himself and is a good player along kemba and MKG. Hendont should come in with the second group.
Hendo is better than Taylor. He should start.
I agree with your your statement. This also applies exactly to Hendo as well. I know JT has been a revelation, and he's proven to be a good shooter and defender as advertised. But Henderson still is a better and more developed player at this point. He was actually touted as a top notch league defender before last year happened, when he was coming off major hip surgery and the lolcat record breaking debacle to look average as part of our sieve like defense.
I know they seem very similar, and maybe to save money and or get draft picks, we go with the younger option eventually. But Hendo is an explosive athlete, with quick hands and feet (that block on Rasheed Wallace was incredible) - he knows how to use his athleticism better and more efficiently at this point then Taylor. He also is better at creating offense for himself and others. And as for his weakness, I know its a small sample size, but his 3 point stroke looks really nice this year. 56% on 5-9 shooting is a positive trend.
If we can resign him for a good deal, I still think Hendelbow can absolutely be a part of our young, hard-working, ultra-athletic core. The speed and defense of Kemba, MKG, JT, Biz, and Hendo can give teams fits if they're able to reach their potential. Just add another dynamic scorer/creator in the draft/FA, along with Mully, I like the looks of that young group.

man, hendo has some hops for sure. and his stroke from 3 is looking pretty good, too, which is a nice surprise (if he hits 10 out of his next 30 he will be on the same page as taylor, 15-40). i'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt, he has an awesome team attitude, how can you not support that?
my biggest concern about hendo is him remaining healthy. hopefully he won't miss anymore time. i support playing hendo as much as possible. the team HAS to see where they stand with him and what he can do with our core pieces. no doubt that henderson is the better player at the moment (and he is only a year and a half older than JT), but Taylor might end up being the better fit, which could be the deciding factor come trade deadline/free agency. plenty of games left to watch and see.
Hendo, Taylor, Williams, and sometimes Sessions is a VERY nice SG group we have.
Wish we could get rid of Gordon, so he wouldn't be soaking up those minutes.
I really like Taylor, but at this point Hendo should definitely start.
Esp. if he keeps playing like he did last night.

Taylor looks like he'll make a nice third swingman off the bench, but he's not a guy you want starting full-time. Once Henderson's healthy he's gotta go back to being the starter, the Bobcats badly need his scoring in the lineup.
Tonight will be a good test for him trying to hold down Ellis.
