too lazy to look up the H2H stats but iirc Hendo has been styling on Ellis for the last couple years
Eh, Ellis is a little too much of a waterbug, I think Taylor would be a better matchup on Jennings with Kemba and Sessions using their quickness to bother Ellis a little more than Taylor would.

In 2012, Ellis is 19/3/4/2 on 32/17/68 percentages
Hendo is 23/7/3/1 on 53/0/81 percentages
He's pretty much had his number

I think Henderson deserves his starting roll back....the rule is that no player should lose their starting spot bc of injury...either way getting back Henderson just makes our team and bench alot better...Henderson proved the other night that he has continued to improve...he looked really good and i think the success of Taylor while he was gone has motivated him even more to improve his game....having Taylor come off the bench gives us a lock down defender off the bench to add with what is mostly a group of scorers with average defense ( with the exception of Biz ) ...even tho Biz still looks a bit lost on D and is out of place alot.....Getting henderson back can do nothing but help this team...and as much as i want us to win i am somewhat glad that we lost games be4 he got back...that we he didnt really screw up our chemistry and didnt have to put extra pressure on himself
Im glad to have him back and not at all upset to see him starting again soon....even with him being back i fully expect Taylor to continue to get minutes....of course his minutes will go down from when he was starting but he will still get 20-25 minutes..mostly as MKG's backup...which we really need
hendo is much better on the 2nd unit. hendo and kemba don't jive playing style-wise. hendo needs screens, double screens etc like rip hamilton or ray allen. this means kemba has to stand at the top of the floor pounding the ball waiting for things to develop. kemba's strength is creating off the drive or picks. hendo is not a good fit for this core going forward. trade him sooner rather than later.

that is the biggest problem. to make the offense flow, hendo has to operate off of the screens at the same time as kemba runs a single pick and roll or goes one on one on the other side of the floor. this is a great plan until you realize the kick coming out from kemba will be to a curling player who can't reliably hit a three. so basically kemba would be giving up a 5-8 foot pullup/floater or contested layup (with rolling bigs to clean it up) for a long 2. not good offense.
Yeah, but I think we might get some use out of initiating with something vaguely triangle like (maybe Mullens as the initial pass inside) and then bringing it back out into pick and roll. That might make good use of both skill sets, with Kemba's pick and roll being the bail out.
I do get your point though.

Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch
