Man that was really sad after the Knicks game. Stephanie looked like she was about to cry talking how crappy our fanbase is after the entire arena erupting when JR hit that shot. She said the team realizes it. I hope they use it as motivation but it must be quite the burden to play basically 82 road games. This is a problem that is not gonna be solved with a change to the Hornets.
idk though, after her comments I just felt really hopeless about NBA basketball in Charlotte.

give it a few winning seasons with a decent young core coming up and they will fall in line. but it does suck. however, like atlanta, charlotte is a "new south" (god i hate that libby yankee term) city which means lots of recently transplanted folks so they may never come around.

Yep, perils of being such an attractive destination for transplants. See it everywhere in the Carolinas unfortunately.
It happens when any big city team comes here. Ever seen a Lakers game here? It happens in football too. It's not a big deal.
Once we get to the playoffs again, and to see the stadium streamed with white.
Or if we change colours/name to Hornets, then (I'm assuming) the stadium filled with teal.

Have you seen how many New Yorkers live here? We have been struggling and they are doing great. At least the place was packed. Hopefully we can turn some if those people to Bobcat fans.
Hey don't bad mouth all the New York transplants!! You guys Atleast managed to convert one to a Bobcats maniac right here
With all seriousness that is depressing about the comments Stephanie Ready made but she hit the nail on the head. That's how it is with major teams, even the Knicks. While its fustrating, it's how the monster that is pro basketball works. The only thing you can do to stop it is become an amazing team and pick up band wagoners or have the die hares step it up. Unfortunately for the second one it's easier said then done. I feel lucky I've been able to make 3 games this year, I don't have the money or time to make it to all the games but that doesn't mean I won't support these guys. Unfortunately what happend against the Knicks is a painful reality to probably most teams in the NBA against marquee matchups.
