Default Roy Hibbert expects to become the NBA's best center

    http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba...s-best-center/

Let's get this clear, he won't ever be the NBA's best center. Especially the way he's playing this year. As garbage as the center's are in the league now there's really only 2 superstar/all-star worthy center in the league, Dwight & Tim Duncan. Hibbert is having one of the worst seasons of his career...

This guy Hibbert is TERRIBLE, this man has the length and the body and the skill set (as far as shooting mid range) to be a superstar. This man Hibbert is shooting 38% from the field as a BIG MAN..

    Thoughts?

Before he could be a superstar his offensive skill-set needs to be recognized by his team. Right now they just see him as a defensive presence.

Man I have no faith in this man Hibbert at all, I can't believe he made the all-star team last year.

While it's 99% certain he'll never be anything more than a border line all star, it is nice to see a player striving to be the best, as opposed to just being content with where he is at.

One thing you'll notice about Hibbert is his game. If you watch him from the moment he stepped onto the College campus til now, you'll see that every single year he improved (unlike Okafor). Do I think he'll be NBA's best center? No. I don't think he'll ever come close to it. But again props to him for continuing to work hard and to try be better than he can be. Not everyone can be Kareem or Kobe or Lebron, but even the solid starter guys can push themselves to the limit to be borderline All-stars, even All-star caliber players.

There's aspiration and then there's delusion.

    If there's even a 0.000001% chance, it isn't a delusion. He's young and 7 foot 2. ANYTHING IS POSSSIIIIIIBLE.
