Any Jeff Adrien enthusiasts out there??

You gotta love the fact that we are adding a tough, young rebounder to this particular roster. Is anybody up-to-date on how his offensive game has evolved since UCONN? Pick-and-Pop?? Low-post moves??

I am a sucker for the underheighted power forwards with off-the-charts strength and length.....the Larry Johnsons(young version) and poor man's Larry Johnsons of the world.... Love watching them battle and bully the taller players.

He will fill a role, that's all. He has limited potential tbh, he's so undersized and isn't very athletic. A dejaun Blair kind of player I reckon.

I'm optimistic about his prospects. All I'm hoping to see him do is rebound everything that comes his way and maintain position defensively without any dumb fouls, anything else would be a plus.

I like his game and he is definately an improvement over Higgins....i think every1 here was more then ready for Higgins to be waived so no matter who we got to take his place its just a plus that we finally got rid of Higgins...Also with Warrick being a dissapointment so far ( although i dont think he has really gotten a fair chance) its very possible that Adrien gets run over Warrick...I honestly think that its somehwhat of a moot point bc i dont really see Adrien getting much playing time..i remember him from college and his stats from the D league are amazing ( alot of ppl saying he has been the best player in the D league ) but i dont really recall how he played for us during the summer league / preseason..can some1 give me a little insight as to how he played when he was with us prior to the start of the regular season??..if he didnt get any playing time when he was with us then dont bother..

He didn't play summer league and I think played maybe one or two pre season games, not really sure why we waived him off so early. Of all the guys we invited to training camp I thought he was the best, but as others have said its a mute point, he will barley play

This raises the old debate: If a 6'7" player has the length, strength, and weight of many 6'10" guys, is he truly undersized?

You never know. It's a long season and obviously injuries can mount up. We desperately need some mean streak rebounding, and that is the one clear thing Adrien provides.

Hustle, Defence, Rebounding ... that's my sort of player!

Now he does have limitations, but let's see what he can do over the next few games. If he can continue to board, defend and pick up efficient points while giving it 100% then he has a place on our roster.
