If only Henderson could stop practice highlight dunks and do some left handed lay ups
    Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Kema Walker The Core, The Future...
    Bizmack Biyombo
    Jeffrey Taylor

Wasnt there a rumor this offseason that we were going to tender Augustin and trade him to the Pacers for Hansbrough? I think Henderson has more value than Augustin.

I think we are seeing now that JT is not ready to try and take Hendo's job. Need to stop worrying about trading Hendo and try to add pieces to he, Kemba, Biyombo and MKG in the upcoming draft. I doubt anyone we would get in this upcoming draft in the range of a #20 pick or later is going to be nearly as effective for us as Hendo.

Uhmm, not what I said at all. Read it again. I am saying that trading Hendo would likely get us no more than a pick around #20 in the 1st round. Our own pick will most certainly be a Top 3 pick. And we may get the Portland pick in 2013, so I dont see any reason to trade Hendo for another 1st which is going to be in that #20 range at best.

I would be open to trading him, but he's definitely worth thinking about keeping. One of the biggest knocks on him prior to this season was his ability to hit from outside. Well, he's doubled his career attempts (1.5 from .7-- not a tone but respectable) and hitting them at a very nice 52.6% clip. (Though, strangely, his overall fg% has taken a dip.)

I think the thing to remember is that you're not going to have an all-star at every position. We would do well to have young, reputable guys that fill roles for us as long as they are affordable. Hendo's from the area and seems to work hard. Not to mention, he can make some game-breaking plays (missed Laker layup aside) and would could potentially make our 1-3 one of the most disruptive sets in the league.

If he can be a 17-4-5, I'd gladly pay him $5M-6M per, upwards of $7M.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

Yeah but No way Henderson should average 17 ppg on a good team and I don't see him averaging 5 assists either. If he did then of course we should get him on a 6-7 mil contract

Henderson is the kind of guy that would absolutely benefit from playing with better players.
