I don't mind winning games. But in order to get better, we still have to suck.
In other words, we suck balls. We need to keep sucking balls to get better and continue to build our young core of talented players.

Or, maybe just maybe this isn't a very good team.

They surprised some people early by just playing harder and hustling.

Yeah, we're losing a lot of games.

That's a surprise! Take off your tinfoil hat if you think Dunlap is sitting there going, "Damn Kemba is heating up, gotta take him out!"

Why can't it be somewhere in the middle? We're not nearly as bad as last year. We could win some games. But you don't find it mildly interesting that whenever a player is getting hot, Dunlap sits him on the bench for the next 15 minutes?

It obviously is somewhere in the middle. Were still on pace to triple our win total from last year. Do you think Dunlap is willing to risk his first and potentially only shot at an NBA coaching gig? I don't.

Could you give me an example of sitting somebody for 15 minutes after getting hot?

I don't know why Dunlap would be throwing games in this draft, it is pretty lean. I am not sure if there are any franchise players though Zeller and Shabazz (and possibly Noel) could fit that mold. I think Dunlap is more focused on winning and not on throwing games for a higher pick, especially when we lost out on Davis this past year.

I'm not saying he's doing it on his own... It could have very well come from the front office.

All I'm saying is, we're not yet necessarily a playoff team, but we're better than we were last year. Quite honestly, I felt we were good enough to be a .500 team if everything fell into place just right... But, this losing streak is making us look much worse than we actually are. There are little things he's doing that are very obviously in opposition to what's best for the team in clutch situations during games.

I'm curious myself now...what are the specific examples of Dunlap throwing games? Not generalizations, but actual, specific actions that show he's throwing games.

i believe that if the expectation was that this team could finish at or near .500, then disappointment is going to follow those holding that expectation. There's simply not enough talent here for that to happen. Dunlap isn't throwing games...this is, at very best a 25 win team. Also keep in mind that Dunlap is a rookie coach. He's learning too.

Nobody is throwing games, we're simply just talented enough to be in most games but not talented enough to win most of them yet. And considering where we were last year, that's a nice, big step in the right direction.
