Kemba had a considerable national reputation coming into the league, so it wouldn't surprise me if he got over the hump and got in.

Kemba Walker is our best player but we lose every game therefore its HIS FAULT and he sucks

Every time he puts the basket in the hoop it's like he's putting us further behind.

Currently 17th in the league in assists and 8th in the east. Last nights scoring bumped his average up to 18.8. If he can be at 20 ppg in early Feb., he may sneak in especially if there is an injury to another top guard in the east. What may kill him the most is his assist/turnover ratio of 2.7 to 1. Top pgs usually keep that average at or above 3.

    over who?
kyrie, rondo, williams, wade are all shoe ins. meaning it will be between jrue holliday, joe johnson. sure kemba's stats are certainly a qualifier, but at the cats record, he would have to be leading the league in either scoring or assists (and at a wide margin) to get the votes.

the big debate is whether the cavs will get two players in with a losing record. sideshow andy may get frozen out and he is the best center in the east. no way the east has 3 players from well below .500 teams on the allstar team.

I don't keep up with all-star stuff. Is it still starters are voted in and the rest is picked by coaches?

I can see Kemba making the all star game next year.

It'll take a couple of injuries and some lights-out play from him. Derrick Rose, Rondo, Deron Williams, and Kyrie Irving aren't going anywhere, and the fans are going to vote Dwyane Wade in as a starter either way. That's before we start addressing the situation of if Jrue Holiday's breakout season is for real, what happens if John Wall is actually healthy, Ray Felton putting up numbers on the Knicks, and whether somebody from the Teague/Knight/Jennings/Ellis/Lowry group has a really big year. The point guard position is currently stacked, especially in the East.

    In this thread I learned:

You need legitimately great players to win a championship.

If we had Westbrook, people would still be pissed off.

The names of past Finals MVPs.
