Yeah, it was a loss, but I feel bad for any Bobcats fan who missed that road game versus the Lakers last night. I was so proud of our team. So many great moments...
Henderson's Superman-style dunk on Howard, which had the LA crowd ooing and awing.
Hack-a-'Smack in the final minutes, and Biz calmly goes to the line to nail both free throws.
Mullens all over the boards like Kevin Love.
Henderson continuing to nail 3-pointers like he is Steve Kerr.
Ramon Sessions with his patented elevated drives to the hoop.
Kemba Walker going off offensively, and also including some sweet assists to 'Smack and MKG.
Mullens swatting 4 shots.
Biz swatting Kobe.
Drama and near misses down the stretch, especially in the Bobcats final possession.
That was great basketball last night, and it got me thinking about the season as a whole. The Bobcats are clearly better and staying in games way more often than last season. If we merely stay close against superior teams, we provide the fans with better entertainment, but still get the chance to pick up one more good lottery pick. A ton of 2-5 point losses will get you a lottery pick just as well as a ton of 20 point losses.
Then, in the coming years we unleash Walker/MKG/Bismack/Taylor/(2013 lottery pick) on the league, perhaps with Mullens and Henderson in the mix as well. Perhaps. If Hendo keeps hitting 3's like this, he will make a strong case to stay here.

Last night was the most painful L for me as a beginner Bobcats fan. I guess the only good that I can take from it is that if we had an efficient scoring big then we would be a playoff team easily.
Picksetter,
You are so on the $$$$. We are one back to basket, scoring power forward away from being a playoff team. Right now we are so guard heavy dependent on our scoring. As soon as we get a consistent low post scoring presence, watch out league.
We need to hit big in the lottery one more year, or trade for someone like Milsap mid season. Now is not the time to win games. Just get better and one that one last pivotal piece.

- We lost
- We blew a 18 point lead
- Continuous mind-blowing use of the zone allowing Jodie Meeks and some other cat to stay hot all night.
- MKG can't score in half-court set
kinda reminded me of the game against miami last year.
i hate losing (especially to the lakers), but i can sense this team (specifically, certain players) getting better and better. the team is making strong strides.
would have been nice to have every talking head losing their shit on tv today though. 1 win doesn't hurt too much right (remembers the chris paul draft)?
this team just doesnt know wtf to do when they are up big...since they are not used to being up big....lol
hopefully they learn from this, and the portland loss. because throwing this game was pretty painful to watch. i mean they couldnt even escape a full court press
