    IMO...

Biyombo has the potential (key word) to be a defensive anchor for the next decade. However, Noel has slightly higher than KG potential.

Also, this makes me wonder if Noel is high on Cho's board. I may be looking too much into this, plus the fact that they are rumors, but:

    1) Cho didn't want Drummond because he didn't want two project bigs on the same roster.
    2) Biz is supposedly available in a bigger trade and has been named in a couple of different rumors.

Again, I could easily be looking too much into this, and number 2 is just rumors, but maybe Noel is high on Cho's radar and he's working to get him in the draft.

Maybe, just maybe, it COULD be possible for us to cash in on our assets and get Noel and McLemore/Shabazz?

All speculation aside, I have to take exception to any claim that Noel has potential similar to KG.

It should be pretty obvious considering KG is one of the most gifted offensive big men to ever play the game. Nerlens shotputting floaters around the rim and shooting 57% from the FT isn't going to get it done when prime KG is a 30 point threat and hovers around 80% from the line for his career.

Not to mention the simple fact that KG is probably a top 15 player on most all-time lists, so saying Noel has slightly better potential is claiming he could be an all-time great as well, no? I have a hard time saying that about Anthony Davis (the better prospect and, quite frankly, much closer to a KG type).

None of that is to say Noel doesn't have great potential or can't be a really good NBA player, but I'm hesitant to just throw those kinds of comparisons out there. If you were to say he's in the Tyson Chandler/Joakim Noah/Marcus Camby mold, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Those guys are great players in their own right

Drummond is a project? That was a quick project to say the least. If you're a Biz optimist, you have to have an offensive threat as at the 4 to offset Biz's offensive limitations: Noel is a defensive force, but I'd rather have Cody Zeller who is a decent defender (at the least) and a polished post-player at the other end.

you can have biz or noel going forward. choose which one.

also, noel would be the #4 pick with mclemore off the board.

Right now, I think Noel is going to be a better, more versatile player than Bismack. But I don't think he's going to be a better enough player to give up on Bismack (and his potential) just to get Noel. Especially not when I don't consider Noel to be the best player in the draft.

Now if we have, let's say, the 4th pick, and McLemore, Shabazz, and Bennett are off the board, I'd draft Noel and force him and Bismack to figure out how to score a bucket.

(For Dummies Version: I consider him the 4th best prospect at the moment)

You can't say that as he is playing at a much lower level of competition, it's just naive to think that.
