Sigh. I was merely making a joke about his hair giving him a couple extra inches of height. Didn't mean to start this crap again.

Noel is having technically just as good of a season as Greg Oden had his year at Ohio State. He's scoring about 5 ppg less, that's the only column he's not equal or better in. More blocks and roughly the same rebounds.

I have a huge man crush on Bennett's game. Love the way he plays. Reminds me of Millsap but more athletic. Saw an insider article that said our front office really likes him.

Problem with Mclemore is that he has alot of trouble creating his own shot. Thats definitely something we don't need. I like Shabazz's game and the way he attacks more than Ben's game. They're roughly shooting the same pct from the floor and behind the arc.

Unless we can lock up Millsap in free agency then I think we need to draft Bennett and then grab a SG with Portland's pick, seeing as how we'll probably get it this season

Bennett has good rebounding potential and seriously can score from ANYWHERE on the floor. Can we say that about any other big man in this draft?? Compared to the rest of them, he truly intrigues..... (Barkley meets LJ?)

It's understandable to want the universal rule of actual without-shoe height, but for whatever reason the NBA and NCAA haven't done that through the years. LeBron James is 6'7.25" without shoes, but I can't think of him as anything other than 6'8".

My rule: Take any player's height in socks, and add 1.25". 1.25" is about the average that shoe soles give you. If a really long player is 6'8.5" barefoot, I'll probably consider the 1.25" shoe rule and round him up to 6'10" because of his length.

I know this is fascinating for everyone....

I really like Isaiah Austin and would really love for us to get him with the Portland pick if we do get it. Tonight he had 17 points and 21 boards (12 offensive) against Oklahoma. On the season he's averaging 14.5 PPG and 8.8 RPG. With some added weight i think he can be a really good big man and he can shoot a little 3.

I see him as a much better version of Mullens. They are similar players but Austin has a lot more potential than Mullens in my opinion. While his inside game does need some improvement he still is effective down low and does try and do to much outside shooting unlike Mullens. I think Austin can be a much better rebounder than mullens and possibly become around a 15 and 10 guy. He is only a freshman so obviously he is still young and right now he is listed at 7'1 and on draftnet it says that he could grow another inch or two (not sure how accurate that is).
