Everything depends on the trade deadline and the draft. The Bobcats biggest needs are an upgrade at shooting guard and a big man to build the frontcourt around. Whether they draft a big or a swingman will dictate where their priorities lay in free agency.

Targets I wouldn't mind the bobcats pursuing.

Tyreke Evans: We need a good young SG badly. he hasn't been the guy that he was his rookie year, but i partially think it's bad coaching and a truely toxic atmosphere in Sacramento with the Maloofs looking to leave the city at every turn. Tyreke is also an improved jumpshot away from being a top 5 SG also, with great size.

Chauncey Billups: I would LOVE to have him backing up and mentoring Kemba. There is so much he could teach Kemba about leadership and defense fro the point guard position. he would just be a great team leader for our young guys also. i would pay him a little over what the market would pay him just to get him here and have his professionalism rub off on our guys. Talk about helping our culture....

Tony Douglass; if we can't get Chauncey, he would be a good backup for Kemba also. Love his defense.

Matt Barnes: Solid player with tough/aggressive attitude. I kind of want some of his fiestiness to rub off on MKG and taylor in a good way.

Rasheed Wallace: bring him back to NC. I would love for us to draft another young big or trade for one like derrick Williams and then have Wallace mentor him and Bizmack. My ultimate would be to somehow bring Garnett here, but don't see that happening unless Boston blows that team up.

Sheed would never want to play for us lmao. Billups wouldn't sign with us either I remember when Billups got amnestied he said he would only sign with a championship contending team.

I agree with Corb, but other than that I would like all of the players (excluding Sheed and Douglas) to join the Bobcats

Thabeet's looking pretty solid this year with the Thunder.

With Charlotte locked in to Tyrus Thomas, Brendan Haywood, and Biyombo next season; a team option on Hakim Warrick; the possibility of Byron Mullens coming back; and the draft pretty heavy on big guys, it doesn't make much sense to spend cap space on more rotation bigs.

I like the idea of picking up Tyreke in FA then drafting a big man in the draft. A line up like this moving forward can do wonders.

    Kemba
    Tyreke
    MKG
    Biz/Mullen
    Len

    Couple of thoughts on Tyreke:

    1) Charlotte isn't the right place for him to get his head screwed on straight, he needs a group of veterans and a strong head coach who are going to carry some weight when they correct him. Clubs like Boston, New York, Brooklyn, or possibly Chicago make sense. He'll just continue doing things his way and being a screw-up if the Bobcats bring him in.

    2) Kemba-Tyreke-MKG gives you three slashers without near enough spacing in that rotation. Even if we assume that Kemba continues to shoot threes at the rate he has been in December; Tyreke's a career 25% three-point shooter, MKG is a poor outside shooter, and Mullens has only been hitting at around 30% from outside this season. Defenses will just collapse into the paint and completely shut down the offense.

    3) Tyreke needs the ball in his hands to be effective. So does Kemba, but to a lesser extent. They're a pretty poor pairing. If I had to choose between Tyreke or Brandon Jennings for this club I take Jennings 10 times out of 10, because he can hit from outside and play some catch-and-shoot off of picks if he needs to.
