I think Dunlap is doing a fine job. he's doing what Cho has asked of him and that's develop the young guys. We aren't going to win anyhting this year so we need to get guys like Kemba, Biz, Taylor, MKG, and Mullens as much game experience as possible. This is still a VERY young team and it's going to take time along with some more talent acquisition to get out of the bottom of the eastern conference.

It seems like my Tyrus comment through everybody off so hear me out. We were one of the league leading teams in blocks before tyrus got hurt. Now people are scoring against us very easily. I am not talking about his offense because that straight up sucks. I hate his 17ft jumper that he almost never hits. But he does cause problems with his defensive intensity and his shot blocking capability.

Now what changes would I like to see...
    1. Free MKG - I loved him against Phoenix. He was much more aggressive than he has been and he needs to realize that for the Bobcats to be somewhat successful this season he will need to take charge more often. Also Dunlap, give him more minutes!!

    2. Less Ben Gordon at crunch time. Give it to ANYBODY else not him. I don't care if he's on fire. In the last 5 minutes of the game take him out.

    3. Pass it to Biz!! I just hope he catches it. But honestly he usually has amazing position bc the defense doesn't expect us to pass it to him. Lately he has been a lot better catching it and he does have some post moves...kind of but damn he looks awkward falling every 2 minutes

    4. Try and get more picks for 2013 or 2014 with our expirings of Diop and next year BG

    5. Stay the course two more draft picks and we have a starting 5!!

PG: Walker (really impressed with him this year)
SG: Draft Pick (I want an athletic guy who can shoot lights out!)
    SF: MKG!!
PF: Draft Pick (But I want somebody who can post up!!!)
    C: Bismack

    Rotation Guys:
    Sessions (good team guy)
Hendo (why not resign he will be cheap I think)
    Jeff Taylor
Tyrus (unless we can trade him which would be hard because of the contract)
    Another Big hopefully not Haywood

I haven't really been impressed with Dunlap either, but a coaching change only makes sense if you have someone better to put in. I wouldn't mind if we gave the Zen Master a call. Dunlap could move to the front office or become the coach in waiting. Part of being an NBA coach is managing players and getting them to buy in.

If that doesn't work we might as well give him at least until the end of the year.

i think this is a fair complaint, but i also think many of the board members here would just tell you that this period is a necessary growing pain. they would say that the opportunity for becoming a top contender (and it is definitely not guaranteed, despite some attitudes that say do this and this and we will be awesome) is worth waiting for, rather than blowing our wad on some quick fix moves that will almost certainly hinder the team in the long run.

right now, when i watch games, i am not really watching for the wins. i love love LOVE it when the team wins, but I like to watch the individual players and see if I can spot any growth, just from the viewpoint of a causal fan observer. i love what kemba is doing this year (what a tremendous leap from last year) and MKG is great. i was upset about biz in the beginning of the year, but now that he's back on track, i'm a lot happier.

i can agree that i'm confused about why our defense is god-awful and that certainly worries me. and i'll be so happy when the over-priced vets' contracts expire. there are certainly plenty of things to complain about.

i don't think anyone will blame you if you get sick of watching terrible bobcats ball on those nights when nothing goes right and change the channel. everyone has to do it at some point. i watch plenty of other teams play ball and sometimes it's hard to believe these teams are even in the same league (you're from new york, right? the knicks have been fun as hell to watch. fuck you tyson chandler). i just enjoy watching the bobcats because i know the players and i have enjoyed watching the young guys develop. and i personally don't think huge drastic changes are really what's needed amidst this crappy losing streak. i feel confident that the team is finally on the right track and that this team will be very good and very legitimate soon enough.

I dont think that he should be fired but changes need to be made in the lineup and he needs a new gameplan cause his playbook on the defensive end is a clusterfuck

Firing Dunlap would be a HUGE MISTAKE. He gots a young team. His goal is to improve the team performance, not record. That is what he promised Jordan. Make sure the team is playing better in Feb in comparision with the beginning of the season. Every player has stepped up there game from last year. Give him a couple more years at least.

Yeah, this is really a non-issue with me. At worst, you let him develop our talent and if it looks like he's reached his limit, you find a good x's/o's coach who can then take our team to the playoffs. From the outside, it appears he's got these guys playing like a group of college players who believe in each other and want to support each other. That's critical with a team with guys like MKG and Biyombo who need to develop quite a bit and need people to believe in them rather than beat them down.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

Cousins is a headache for Sac. right now. Major ass, immature, but talented as all get out. Would love to find a way to get him to Charlotte. That would be a huge change that makes a difference for this team.
