im having a hard time understanding how some feel about the direction of the bobcats. alot of ppl are rooting for a lottery season, hendo to be traded, taylor is a starter and dunlap is a good coach .

first off dunlap sucks . i posted at the end of pre-season that i was worried about dunlaps coaching methods in the " dunlaps preseason review" thread. i was worried that his d'antoni like style was going to hurt our defense ,and i was right. dunlap has the whole team just pulling from 3. the top ten defensive teams dont even have an stretch 4 except minny and the knicks but thats an exception because melo and love are all-stars. we lost like 4 games we should of won ,but instead of having the ball in our best players hands(kemba and hendo), he has mullens jacking or mkg on the bench when we need to be holding our lead.ppl are giving dunlap kudos when some of our players look like they're regressing. last year mullens was looking like steal and was more efficient but this yr he look like he's going backwards in his development and last year biz was looking more dominant(had some real great games) , this year he's looking very avg .

lottery season ? in the past decade there were not many rookies in the lottery who were superstars ; howard,love,paul,lebron,wade,durant melo,rose, bosh ,and griffin. these are players(my opinion) who where capable all-stars in there first two years and where instant impact players that could carry an franchise. if i go back at least 4 drafts we will see that there werent many superstar calibur players.

im basically showing this because its very rare to find a superstar that can carry a franchise in their first or 2nd year. some of you are rooting for a lottery pick in one of the weakest drafts in years with no real polished players and just raw athletes . the bobcats are about 3 years in the rebuilding stage and if we draft another lottery pick it may set us back another 3-4 years just to develop him . i feel that we should be patient and develop our 4 Lottery picks ,and be a player in free agency , before we think about added another project.if push come to shove im all for trading our picks, biz,mullens(even though i dnt think he has much value rite now) or mkg for a legit 4 or 5(amare,jefferson,cousins,j.smith,love or something small for gasol to co-exist with biz for a few years).


im really glad that taylor had the chance to start because it shown he's not a starter . he had like one ok game and the rest been horrid . his d is overrated ,(6'7 225 w/40 inch vert) he dont rebound, he cant create for himself or others. please dont hit me with that rookie stuff because he was drafted as a 23 year old college senior ,so pretty much he is at his potential ( an athletic spot-up shooter at best).


and there is hendo. im lost to how ppl are advocating for hendo to be traded? first it was hendo is just a dunker,then he cant create , and my favorite ...his 3 point shot. hendo shown that he isnt just a dunker but he has one of the best mid-range games in the league w nice post moves, he shown that he can create for others while avg almost 4 assist when he plays more than 30 min, and wait for it .....................................HE'S SHOOTING 52% from 3. hendo also one of the best defenders in lg and he rebounds and block shots,i repeat he blocks shots .hendo game is actually one of the few players who literally adds something new to his game every year since 2009. alot of players get better at what they do but many dont expand outside of their comfort zone. at this point im just eliminating excuses. basically hendo is like the longest tenured bobcat so he's like an old video game or toy to some so he's old news but in reality he isnt even close to the problem . it seems like it because it looks like we been losing since his return but he's been highly efficient so that alone is self explanatory .

we need to blame our losing streak to dunlaps coaching methods and line-ups changes,the 7 foot nick van exel, and our horrid post play(offense and defense).
