Hmmm. On lottery night I'd have agreed with you but seeing MKG in action, I'm not convinced we didn't get the best player in the draft with the number 2 pick. Unibrow would've been ideal considering our weakness inside but MKG has that "something" about him that has me drooling and he's just a few months past 19 years old. The kid is special and will be our co-captain next year, something I'm not sure Davis would provide so quickly.
As for the OP:
I like a lot of those moves. They shore up a lot of deficiencies for us but are not so overwhelming that they'd take us out of the upper lottery which we need to be in for one more year. I'd still strongly consider moving one or more of Junior, Sessions, and BG at this year's deadline but only if the returns are what we're looking for (i.e. assets).
