typical bobcats game. played hard and got a big lead only to squander it in an ugly way then try play catch up when there's no one to catch -_- mkg played well though.
PATIENCE IS A BOBCATS FAN VIRTUE
Steph said before the game that Davis told her MKG couldn't score on him...and she said she was going to relay that to MKG.
So much for that idea.
NOLA adjusted to our D 2nd half and we didn't change because of it. Sucks, because I think the players deserved this win.
Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch
MKG was unstoppable in the first half, and he was mostly one-on-one with Davis, outscoring him head to head 18 to 6 before getting kicked in the eye.
I still struggle to find the logic with Gordon (he's either Good Ben or Really Bad Ben and remains that way for the game...the flow of the offense seems to be much better when Kemba and Sessions are running things).
As far as the game, there is no excuse to giving up as big of a lead as we had...we have to have that killer instinct.
We gave up 2 FTs to technical fouls (though I don't blame Dunlap for his T, the Hornet hopped 3 times on 1 foot the prior time down the court, a clear travelling violation right in front of Dunlap and the ref, and then drained a 3..no call) The other technical, a defensive 3 seconds, was on Biz and he was shaking his head immediately, like "my bad", I think he had been in the lane for 5 seconds...and we end up losing by 3.
Not to mention the not-so-top play when we had two players knock each other over as we passed the ball into the backcourt (thankfully the hornets didn't score on that play, but it was still an empty offensive possession).
MKG dominating Davis takes the sting out slightly...but it's past time to get a win.
