I don't believe me or spectre were saying we should trade or fire Dunlap, I know for sure I haven't said that Anywhere.

We still probably have the weakest roster in the NBA. To me, we do not have any dominant big man and that is killing us. Biz is on his way, but not there yet. Mullens is horribly inconsistent, Thomas is non-existent, and Haywood is merely a big body to take up space. How nice would JJ Hickson be right now? We desperately need some big bodies on this team and the PF/C positions have to be top priorities in the off-season without a doubt. Again, we were going to be lucky to win 20-25 games this year anyway. Stay patient, things will get better, just not this year.

I still think we should trade Henderson and get some assets for the future. I just think that he is someone who is expendable and could be upgraded.

ahem, which one who said they were tired called for either of those two things?

On a brighter note our D looked a lot better in the 1st half tonight and in general thru the whole game. All that does tho is piss me off because if we can do it against NOLA we can do it much more often.

Ahem, this is the "I'm tired" thread is it not? The responses in this thread seemed to follow the vein of the op. I'm not calling any one poster out for their comments.

And the D looked bad from up close to me. This matchup zone is putrid and is the reason why Ryan Anderson and Roger fucking Mason were able to shoot their team back into the game.

I'm restless. Monty Williams adjusted to Mike Dunlap's matchup zone in the 2nd half by setting a high screen for the ball handler that would swing the ball to the open shooter on the wing and/or corner. It was painful to watch the Hornets score 3-pointer after 3-pointer on that very same play until the game was tied even.

If you notice Sessions all ways ends the game with a - Kemba usely ends the game with a+ My main problem with this team is we play way to much small ball

Might just be me but most of the time we should play a tridional line up
such as Walker , Hendo, MKG, Smack , Haywood
or Sessions , Gordon , Taylor, Warick , Diop
all im saying is ones should be playing1 position . 2s playing the two position and so on
line ups like Kemba, Sessions, Gordon., Hendo , Smack , should never be on the floor at the same time if you ask me.
People would be much better playing one position good rather than 3 positions bad.

Even in loses you still see Kemba, MKG , and Taylor with a plus game quite a bit. Smack all so has some + even with very little scoring' .

    Thanks Ammofan!

I contribute a lot of that to a small freaking lineup in the third quarter . How in the hell is Sessions going to stop Mason from shoting over him.
How in the hell is Gordon going to defend Anderson at the three point line . At the very least Taylor should have been on Anderson ,

    Thanks Ammofan!

I've been away from this board for a long time but tonight's game has brought me back w/ pure frustration. How and why we give up so many 3s is incredible to me. The book is out on the Bobcats and it's painfully obvious. I have this sick feeling that Dunlap is using a more college based philosphy when it comes to help defense because our opponents are not just shooting 3s, they are wide-open 3s.

Why are we packing it in the paint every night? This is not the 80s and 90s. I can't name one power forward / center who is demanding a double team (or help for that matter) from the jump. Considering we have lost 18 straight I say we stay at home on the perimeter for a game or two and see how it goes. What do we have to lose

Why the hell did Dunlap bench Gordon? If you're gonna pay him the kitchen sink, ride his coattail to the victory.
