I just don't get the total lack of understanding of who i on the floor for the Bobcats. Ryan Anderson is on the floor to do ONE FREAKING THING, shoot open jumpers. Why do you constantly double off of him and leave him wide open for shots. I'm starting to believe Dunlap needs to held responsible for our guys not knowing what the opposing players are capable of. We constantly leave shooters open, I mean constantly...

This team is starting to look very poorly coached.

i am more in the camp that our guys aren't the greatest defenders. particularly the front court. it shouldn't take "coaching" to recognize who can shoot,penetrate etc. we do it every time we play pick up.

How many times have you watched a Bobcat leave a shooter at the arc to double or triple the paint and thought "DON'T LEAVE HIM!! OHHHHH!!!

How many times have you watched a Bobcat sprint back at the shooter and do the MJ Jump Man leap right by him, missing the ball by about 4 feet? Doesn't look good on SportsCenter boys.

Is desperation defense something they work on in practice? "GENTLEMEN WE NEED QUICKER LEAPS AND BETTER EXTENSION ON YOUR RUN OUTS IF THIS SYSTEM IS GOING TO WORK!"

i know. after what we talked about with the 3s before the game i imagined u with clenched fists screaming at the gods and dunlap during the 2nd half barrage.

at this point im in favor of a no 3s defense with only man to man. if your man is on the perimeter, stick to him like glue...no helping on penetration...let the bigs try to take care of it. its insane how big of an impact our 3 defense has had during this streak...and nothings being done about it!!!

Agreed. This is why Dunlap has been trying zones and flooding the strong side with defenders. Most of the bigs are just so bad right now at recognizing when to rotate (Mullens & Biyombo) or just not quick enough (Diop) to rotate on time.

The bigs' struggle on offense also plays into Dunlap's decisions on defense. (And to be fair, lack of consistent outside shooting plays a large roll here too) Since they're not a good half-court offense, Dunlap tries to do anything he can to get out in transition as much as possible. Hence the flooding of the strong side, use of zones and traps to attempt to create turnovers. Once the bigs pick up on how to rotate better or better bigs are brought in, Dunlap's in a tough spot.

Honestly I think it's both. Our record is very telling we have a lot of issues...

I'm tired of the same old crap as well. It's so annoying, frustrating, and disheartening to see them blowing these 15+ point leads as many times as they have. And the only reason it keeps happening is because they have fell into the same trap from last year, in the "woe as me, it's happening again, there's nothing we can do to change it" state. That's why it feels almost pointless to watch. They subconsciously have shifted from looking for ways to win to looking for ways to lose.

Even when we have the lead, it feels like we're not in the game.

People can say what they want whether Dunlap is a problem or not, but I think it's a valid question to ask. No, we don't have a lot of talent... But, by no means should we be this bad.

We look like a team that won't ever be good, and essentially just a feeder team for the rest of the league, like I'm sure Kemba is looking real nice to some teams when his rookie contract is up.

I really cannot understand the fascination with Gerald Henderson is. He's fucking trash, a good dunk every once in a while and a average defender but that's about it.
