I'm personally not a fan of the dismissive/immature lol's at the lead of every post
I agree..shows disrespect bigtime.
I haven't seen the Kings play one time so I'm not real familiar with Cousins...mainly going off what I've read and you guys. All are making good points (DY's was really interesting). Bottom line is I trust in Cho to do the right thing. I don't believe he'll give up the farm if we do trade for him and even if we do and he still acts like an asshole I'd expect him to flip him for something else.
Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch
I think tonight's game showed why DMC would be a good pick-up ... and why he might be a bad one too.
He's needed because our 4 Bigs made a combined 7 FGs from 22 attempts! We seriously need to get more scoring from our Bigs (though I do understand that efficiency isn't his strong point).
He might be bad for us because we won due to out hustling the Bulls. We won through effort and teamwork. DMC's track record suggests that he might not fit in and be a fully committed member of such a collective effort.
It's all supposition because none of us know how he would work out. The question Cho will have wrestled with is 'is the potential reward worth the potential risk'.
And chalk me up as another who dislikes the lol's.

Kemba, MKG, and #1 pick are really the only pieces that would have to be involved in a sexy trade. Hendo, in spite of what brings to the table, is about as "unsexy" as a player in the market could be. Ben, Sesh and Haywood, to other teams, aren't worth the contracts they would have to inherit (especially at their age). Tyrus...def not worth his contract. Plain in simple: if you don't have one of those first 3 pieces above in the mix...don't expect getting anything in return fans will get excited over. If Cousins has entered into Andre Blatche territory...this may be a different discussion.
I like it as a gamble move...and I like gambles (with high rewards of coarse). There is a chance Kemba and MKG would bring a type of positive motivation DMC has not seen since KU (if there was any on that Wildcat team). Not nessesarily the Tom Coughlin "lay the hammer down" type of mentoring but the Pete Carol positive energy type.
Btw. That tweet confirms a text sent from someone in the Cat's front office that Cuz will not be involved in any Cat's trade.

I do think Cousins is better than Biyombo, but I don't think it's as dramatic as people are making it out to be. When we drafted Biyombo, a lot of people didn't even think he'd be in the NBA in his first year. Heck, MOST PEOPLE thought he would make ZERO impact until his 3rd-4th year. He's one of the youngest big men in the league and he's further along than people expected him to be. He's probably never going to be a fun player to watch, so I wonder if people are allowing that to really underrate the guy. If we give him up for Cousins, I don't think we should have to give up a first as well. Henderson + Biyombo + We take a bad contract for Cousins seems fair to me, but I'm probably in the minority on that one.
If we could somehow make the trade while keeping Biyombo, Kemba, and MKG; then I have an official mancrush on Cho.

okay say it doesnt work out, and hes a douche and we trade him what could you get and would he be worth nearly as much, what if he completely changes attitudes and is a 22-14 guy. we will never know if we dont get him
