Talent wise, I would jizz my pants. Then I think about him coming here and completely shitting on Dunlap and creating a mutiny against him because, you can mark it down, he will have absolutely ZERO respect for Dunlap considering how he has repeatedly tried to emasculate a former player like Smart.

But, if somehow, he came and was happy, this could be a beautiful thing. And after seeing the train wreck we're currently in, I'm ready for change, and a talented big is the kind of change we could use.

I'm thinking Henderson, expiring Diop and maybe a pick or two.
Probably would take on one of their bad contracts.
And will it work? Possibly (simply because I think Dunlap can get through to him).

This would be HUUUUGE, and I hope it goes down depending on what we give up. I'm thinking it centers around Henderson and then goes from there. Probably either both draft picks + Mullens/Taylor/Sessions, or for the jugular and goes Biyombo + one of the draft picks. In a battle of Cho versus Petrie, I have the utmost confidence in Cho to get us his/MJ's guy without sacrificing Kemba and MKG (and hopefully Biyombo). Honestly, I'd love the multiple picks owed to us, but if we can land DMC, while holding onto our first this year, we'd be rolling into '13-'14 with Kemba, Shabazz/Mcclemore/Goodwin, MKG, Bismack, DMC as our core. At some point, we are going to have to surround that youth with some veterans, so the draft picks are okay to let go of, IMO. I'd love to hold onto Bismack as I think he would compliment DMC perfectly, but you have to give to get. Should be interesting.... come on Cho.... lets melt some minds out west.

Now of course when no trade goes through and we continue to suck, the forum will be flooded with ” the FO isn't making any moves to get better”

    Either way, Bart Scott!

I kind of hope we don't go after him. He doesn't have what it takes between his ears to be the type of nba player you can count on. Don't want to give up assets for that. Kings fans want to get rid of him for a reason.

I'd be fine with Hendo/Kemba/Diop for Cousins/Salmons. However, I would be adamantly opposed to including MKG under any circumstances, and I'd rather not give up any of our 1st round picks if possible.

Hendo's gone after this season anyway, and Diop for Salmons is basically the same thing we did in the Gordon trade: swapping one bad contract for another, but taking on one additional year of salary. Like Gordon's contract though, Salmons' still expires in 2014, thus protecting our cap space for 2014 (which has clearly been Cho's plan for awhile). So it comes down to Kemba for Cousins, and I do that deal 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. Plus we still have Sessions, which helps. I really don't know why Kings would want Hendo though, unless they were sure they could re-sign him. Yeah, he's an expiring, but he's not making that much.

I have no clue why you would include MKG though. None. MKG is the pure hustle, non-stop energy, hard working kind of player that 30 NBA teams want on their roster. The kind of guy whose work ethic will rub off on his teammates and make everyone better. Cousins is... not that. They're both high ceiling, super talented stars in the making, but the intangibles matter here IMO.

You do have to give up something of value for the guy. Nutcase or not, a third of the league is going to be submitting trade offers for him.
