it seems that we may have made the wrong pick in the 2012 draft. i like mkg but his style and skill set isnt what we need at this point. mkg finds himself on the bench alot and his minutes fluctuate during close games. hendo is playing the majority of the sf minutes , and taylor comes in during offensive spurts ,so it looks like mkg is the odd man out at times. back in oct i stated that mkg will be the odd man out while others suggested that it would be hendo ? if possible i would like mkg to play more power but it seems like dunlap isnt to fond of that and at best mkg might get a good 5 min at pf.
at this point thomas robinson looks more of a need and should of been our pick ,and he's a better prospect than anybody we could get in the 2013 draft . one thing we know is even if he isnt an polished scorer rite now but rebounds and post play translate to the nba . the bobcats are at a dire need for a strong rebounder and some post , and i think we may have blew our chance .
please dont get me wrong i like mkg but he's not really a factor at this point for our team . if we can play him at pf then we may get more min out of him ,because rite now mkg is an undersized pf playing sf and his sf mins are decreasing. also it looks bad when a d-league player(adrien) basically at the same size(same height ,like 6 pounds heavier) comes in and avg more min then you at a position that u can play.
it may be mkg isn't good for our team , or it may be dunlap isn't utilizing him rite . i like to believe dunlap isnt utilizing mkg rite but if dunlap is going to be our man ,we mines well trade package mkg for a good bigman ....if new jersey can trade favors , we can trade mkg.
also our upcoming 9 games are pretty winnable and if we can at least win 7 games ,i think we should make a push for the 8th seed and make a trade
