im really disappointed to learn gmintraining is in fact not a hilariously dumb person like I thought, but rather just a common troll.

its like finding out Santa isnt real

Seriously, if we're going to have a thread on who the Bobcats should have taken I would put Drummond way ahead of TRob.

i swear the nba has the least knowledgeable fans? just because t-rob isnt starting or not even in the rotation doesn't mean he's a bad player or having a bad year. evans looked more of a promising player than harden in 2009 ,and kevin love sat the bench for 2 years, while players like oj mayo, beasley, and gordon looked like better prospects .

dunlap is not utilizing mkg and i felt that the pick could of been used for a need. i love mkg , i feel that mkg is a faster ,shorter josh smith w all the same skill sets. i just wanna win and i feel since he's always the oddman out and he may have the highest trade value ,and that we may be able to get a potential all-star big or player for that matter .

everyone gets caught in the now factor and im looking at the big picture ; we need a big man and t-rob is a great prospect. the kings dont need him but the they drafted the best player available ,thats not any knock to t-rob. t-rob is buried on the bench but he will get his chance.

basically what i was stating is that we kinda wasted a pick on what we wanted , instead of what we needed and its shows . our bigs are very inconsistent on the boards and none of them have any post play. like i stated rebounds and strong post players always translate to the nba; griffin, millsap, love, faried, blair, drummond, cousins, and monroe. cousins had weight issues coming in the draft, blair had knee issues , faried came from a small college, monroe's one the least athletic centers in the lg but one thing they all have in common is that they all are strong rebounders and post players.

also its so ironic that ppl are mentioning drummond because about 3 weeks ago he was in the same boat as t-rob , but as of late he's getting quality mins so it seems he may be the better prospect. what fans have to understand is that there could be 3-6 different reasons why t-rob is not playing and none of them could be because of performance.

thats why our all-star votes are always messed up because fans dont really watch games nor watch college and dont know anything but whats hot and the 1&2 pick of the draft . i feel before some comment they should watch actual games not highlights.

I agree that Dunlap isn't playing him right but you've gotta consider that he also gets into foul trouble a lot.

lmao T-Rob is a total scrub. The kings would probably trade us T-Rob and two unprotected first round picks for MKG. We would still laugh them off the phone. Players like MKG are once a decade and guys like T-Rob are a dime a dozen. MKG is a star and T-Rob is a flashlight.

Thank god we made the "mistake" to draft the best player available instead of the clear lesser prospect.

We're talking about the only rookie EVER to have multiple 25/12 games and you're complaining? Not MJ, not LeBron, nobody.

You know what else always translates to the NBA? Talent. And we got a shit ton more of it in MKG than we would've from Robinson. He's the youngest player in the league and he's already one of the best defenders and rebounders (ironically, he's a better rebounder than Robinson but I guess that falls on deaf ears to you) among wings.

We need a consistent big man who scores and rebounds instead of a clearly better wing. By your logic, we'd rather have Kevin Love than LeBron or Durant. So...... Yeah.

    Please stop

i guarentee i can think of more high energy defensive tweener players , than an ATHLETIC rebounding big man w some post play

    corey brewer
    iggy(just developed an 3 pointer)
    ronny brewer
    matt barnes
    gerald wallace
    shawn marion
    moe harkless
    thaddeus young
    trevor ariza
artest (kinda of a stretch because he's not as athletic)
    mikeal petrius
    josh smith
    sam young
    kwahi leonard
    wesley johnson

i can name probably 5 more , damn near every team has an athletic defensive tweener, but not every team has an athletic banger and that reason alone is why big men are at premium and players like jj hickson and millsap are looking at huge paydays .

your turn or if anybody wants to take up that challenge

by my logic? i was comparing within draft classes thus love being compared to his drafted counter parts and how he sat the bench for 2 years.what are you talking about? everyone has talent in the nba ....um its the nba but not everyone has skill or fundamentals . everyone is basically glorifying mkg because he's 19 , t-rob is 21 wow big difference.

mkg also isnt nowhere the wing player that durant ,lebron, and melo. mkg is an specialist not an all-around nba player ,and none of the players you even named are specialist or started their careers off as an specialist .

obviously mkg isnt a need because he finds himself on the bench for hendo who may offer almost just as much as mkg w offensive .hendo is basically our starting sf ,so if mkg is always the odd man out in our rotations ,we were better off drafting an actual big even if it wasnt t-rob ,maybe drummond . we are losing games because our bigs are horrible not because we dont have an wing player who plays defense and barely on the court.

side note: i wouldnt consider mkg one of the best defenders in the lg and he's in foul trouble every game

You just named a bunch of true wings and maybe three (Marion, Smith, Young) actual tweeners.

Ironically, Robinson is much closer to a tweener than MKG. Who remembers Robinson trying to play PG in our preseason game with them while MKG was shining like the true budding star he is? Good times.

He averages 27.5 minutes a game. That's far from "barely on the court".

"Barely on the court" would be more like 15.1 per game. Or, you know, the amount Robinson plays.

You're talking about a guy who can't beat out Chuck Hayes or James Johnson for minutes! Seriously, where is corbkicks with an lol when you need him
