Well that's quite a big blunder if he doesn't pan out. Correct me if I'm wrong bit didn't we give up Jackson, Livingston, and Tobias for an overpriced Maggete on the downside (hence the redic $ tied up with BG) and Biz a la 3-way trade? I don't expect perfection...but Cho must have had a love jones for this guy. Wouldn't 11' draft be the worst time to trade up for pic if it was so weak? If Jeff Taylor tanks that's a completely different story given his smaller price.

I wasn't alluding to starting our current journeyman as opposed to Biz; moreso talking about targeting polished prospects..Beal is a good example from a SG standpoint...hell even an unskilled MKG as a rookie has something to offer with is physical tools. Looking ahead, I was thinking getting two starting front-court players (younger than our vets) in the next 2 years..or somewhat soon. This proclamation of "The Core" is way too premature...that is, if you consider Biz a piece of it and especially if your banking future personnel moves on an optimistic projection where Biz is a cornerstone.

We got rid of Jackson's bloated contract for a high potential 1st in Biz, a protected 1st from Detroit, and Ben Gordon - who's likely to get us another pick.

How is that in any way bad?

    Because Bis isn't a 20/10/3 guy after ~100 games

And he failed to solve the fiscal cliff all by himself. Just shameful.

If I'm upset that I'm getting a shack instead of a house, that's different than saying I'm upset that I'm getting a shack instead of a mansion.

That Vulecic guy is pretty developed..Faried too. But too mad they couldn't solve the cliff either.

not really that worried his free throws are starting to come around and he is trying to jam the ball more.

Oh noes, Bismack isn't Dikembe Mutumbo yet! Quick, trade him for crap to play alongside the other crap in the frontcourt!

You guys know which side of this debate I'm on...but if Biz gets another offensive interference I'm liable to bust something really expensive.

Vuc and Faried were never the youngest players in the league and they clearly had much more polished games coming into the league. Biz is a project. We should be seeing where he's at the same time that we cash in Detroit and Portland's picks.
