Henderson needs to take over and take better shots. Mullens needs another move other than catch turn and fire. Bismack is doing what he is supposed to be doing, the rest of the team not so much
If we're so bad at scoring biz should help out then.

They would have to pass him the ball first. Alot of times I see Biz post up or clear his man out under the hoop and no one gives him the ball. Most of his points come off offensive put backs, basket interference or some lucky post up hook shot. I honestly think they should post him up atleast 5 times a game to get him comfortable.
As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it

I would just like to point this out...

I'd say Biz's measuring stick is Faried. Why?

Because that's who I suggested we take for our "big man" last year instead of Biz. Everyone who believes Biz is going to grow into a solid double-double guy every night needs to look at it like this... Is his potential greater than Faried's? I think not, but that was the argument last year... Some preferred Biz over any of the other bigs because he had more potential and a guy like Faried had already "reached his ceiling."

I don't think Faried is done growing as a player, and I think Biz's ceiling isn't much higher than his current level of play. Biz is a serviceable player, but I just don't think he is going to be an "impact" guy like Faried is proving to be.

So the 20 year old Bismack doesn't have much room to grow despite showing steady improvement to this point. But the 23 year old Faried does, despite being pretty much the same exact player he was last year?

    Got it

I don't see the leaps and bounds of improvement that many are claiming here in Biz. I actually see it the other way around SWedd... Biz looks like the same player to me for the most part, while Faried appears to be improving steadily and is securing an increasingly bigger role for his team in the process.

I'd love to eat crow but when your biggest problem is being a 20 year old who is learning to actually play basketball for the first time, I just don't think your improvement will be enough to make you a franchise building block. Biz is athletic and has a great work ethic, but he is just so limited instinctively and offensively.

Bold 1: Very few, in any, on here are saying he has improved in "leaps and bounds" ... I mean the new title of this thread in what most people (myself included) think.

Bold 2: You've acknowledged that Biz is:

    and yet you're also saying:

I don't see how you can, on the one hand, recognise that Biz is still learning how to play the game while, on the second, claim that his ceiling isn't much higher than his current level of play. Surely those two view points are mutually exclusive.

Biz doesn't get the ball on offense because HE JUST CAN'T SCORE. He is terrible offensively they don't even trust him enough to give him touches because he will most likely drop the ball or miss the layup

so pretty much the same result as a kemba step back, a mullens 3, a hendo rumble down the lane, or a ben gordon dribble move.

i think we can all agree that Biz will never be an offensive threat but he does seem alot less timid with his offensive game....but if u dont think that he has improved over the last 20 or so in his rebounding and defense over that span i would have to disagree...this includes his blocks over that same time period...the guy is only 20 and i think over time he can become a guy who averages 10 or so points 12 rbds and 2-3 blocks....what he really needs to improve his game is a low post scorer along side him....im far from ready to give up on him
