Bitching at Dunlap is makes you amnesty worthy? Not saying that's solely the reason ppl want him gone...but the league has a lot of talented assholes..and one way or another, they will be playing for some NBA team. Assholes don't ruin teams...weak leadership that can't contain them do.

Tyrus may be a little off and is extremely overpaid, but I'm gonna attempt to defend him here.
I know he can act like a complete asshole at times, but you can look at it two ways:
1) He is one of those guys who just gets too intense and emotional in competitive situations. Its like if you have that one friend who is cool as hell off the court, but when you go play ball together, he turns into a complete asshole, yelling at other players, refs, teammates. Then once the game is over, he is back to his normal level headed self.
2) He is like that crazy uncle locked away in the basement. Nobody really wants to deal with his issues, but he's great to scare off unwanted guests when needed.
I do think its more like number 1 though. If he was a complete bitch that nobody liked, then the other players wouldn't have anything to do with him ever. But I do notice he gets excited for his teammates, and they in turn get excited when he makes a good play. I'm just saying, if I hated a teammate, I wouldn't be giving him high five or anything, and any encounters would be brief.

He's just a hothead that doesn't know how to deal with his emotions during the game. And if he could just stick to being a spot up shooter instead of trying to create points on his own, I think he'd become a much more valuable player.
My expectation of Tyrus has changed a lot since his arrival. I've gotten to the point that I don't expect anything from him, so when he has games like tonight...it's a nice surprise.
As far as amnestying him, I would imagine MJ would look at that (amnesty) the same way he would look at going into luxury tax land (though it's not quite as punitive). MJ said he'd only go into the luxury tax if we were competing for a Championship (I don't think that is part of our 2-year plan), so...him being amnestied would still be less than 20% likelihood during the next amnesty period.
It's hard to tell sarcasm over the Internet lol.
