    Default Tyrus Thomas appreciation thread

I know most of you rather see him gone than on this team, but; how do I say this without looking like gm in training?.. Tyrus is actually playing pretty good these last two games. I know some of you will be fooled because of his statistics but just because he missed a few (a lot) jumpers doesn't mean he played bad.

Tyrus was THE reason that the Bobcats won against the Pistons tonight! He played solid defense all night, contested every shot he could and scored 6 points in OT.

So that (and many other reasons as well) is why this site deserves a T-Time appreciation thread. If you have something nice to say about him you can do it here. If you hate him and his contract, there are enough other threads to complain about that.

im glad to see tyrus get quality min for once . he brought balance at the 4 that we've been desperate for all year. tyrus offense is inconsistent at times but his defense is always going to be there .

Here here! Totally appreciate how much he "brought it" in his first game back and watching the little bit I could tonight, that he continued that role. With the exception of last year, I have really liked the grit he brings. I hear and read of his in-person antics but I also see a tall ball of energy. For now, he's showing a ton of heart and I appreciate the heck out of that.

Tyrus is dumb but he's not as dumb as Mullens. Tyrus is frail but he's not as frail as Warrick. I'm happy to see Tyrus back so he can help us get a few, not many, but a few wins every here and there.

Not even close to as dumb as Mullens. I'll believe that when Tyrus looks like a lost child in a mall...that would be considered close to Mullens.

I think he can be a good player for us. The coaching staff needs to put him in positions where he can be successful and he needs to play all out. He can still be a really good player for the money if he gets going.

    Their handshake is worth it.

Under Greg Popovich, he would be given a smaller but more specific role (one that none of his past teams have been able to clearly define) and his value would skyrocket. We need him as a 4, but I'm interested in what role he would have on a Popovich team.
