I saw this guy for the first time recently at a Charlotte 49ers basketball game and he was hilarious. Has anyone else seen him at 49ers or Knight's games?
The Cable Box could use a couple of big-time crazies like this guy.

Agreed.
Remember the fat guy that would do backflips at Hornets games? Or the guy that had the huge brick at the baseline when opponents were shooting FT's ? Or the Bee-Fense chants? Super Hugo? Bug on the windshield? The Rick Flair Whooooooooo?
Part of the atmosphere at the cable box that's missing is some of the fan driven culture or customs. Beyond the generic chants of Let's go Cats! Do we have anything? I know we have Cat Crazies but, those are guys have their tickets paid for by the team/ players. Does Rufus do anything that I'm just missing?
From an atmosphere perspective, what's the best part of going to a Bobcats game?

I like the unique player introductions with the instruments. The PA announcer is also extremely passionate. From an atmosphere perspective, what's the best part of going to a Bobcats game?

Uhhhhh-huhhhh lol I died laughing.
The instrumental intros are only for the Wednesday Night Basketball games they do the promotion for. In-game atmosphere I haven't noticed anything really unique to Charlotte yet. Rufus just really does the general mascot type things.
Ohhh....well they do have the noise meter they break out in close games in the 2nd half. But I don't think that's anything special, lol.
