    Default Mullens Impact

its crazy because when he plays he can be very annoying and we get mad but its when he doesnt play, you get to see his true worth. without him we get killed inside, and have no frontcourt offense (well, maybe hakim). i guess he makes a bigger impact then we thought. Also absoulutely no energy last night. smh

We get killed inside when he does play and we don't have any real frontcourt offense with him either because he's terrified of the paint. We had no energy because Indy is a physical team and it was our last game of a 4 games in 5 nights stretch.

It would be nice to have Mullens back for the simple fact that he would supply us with more options across the frontcourt line, but I don't think he'd make us any better or any wins. We'd still be getting blown out and like dismal on the court. However, he does provide us a better skill set than both Warrick & Tyrus at PF. I can't wait to have him back for whatever that's worth.

    Default Mullens Impact

I think Mullens helps the others, I haven't researched it but I'm pretty sure Kemba's stats have dipped since Mullens went down

You are correct. Kemba's averages have dropped to 15 points and 4 assist since Mullens' injury. I really do miss him if that's the case. Our offensive efficiency has been in freefall since the injury and despite beliefs our defense hasn't been any better without Mullens either.

When Mullens return, I hope we banish Warrick to the doghouse with Tyrus. I would much rather see Adrien as a change of pace backup to Mullens than either of those guys.

Agreed, if anything, we have looked worse on defense.

You guys are just praying for anything right now...

we simply are a different kind of suck with or without Mullens. I should start a thread. "BREAKING NEWS: Bad team is bad"

For some reason, seeing him in the radio booth that one night on foxsports, I felt like rooting for him again. He needs to keep the muttenchops w dirty beard w/out goofy shaved head look. New look = new attitude

Also, I think he needed this injury to take a step back and stop this downward spiral that was his confidence leading up to injury
