Default If we got the number 1 pick...

Would you trade it? I'm sure there are some teams who will fall in love with someone towards the top of the draft and I bet we could get some borderline all star level talent back

i think a better exercise is to come up with a list of players who could/would be made available for the #1 pick with their salaries in consideration, as well as a list of future assets that we would need to see in a deal for the #1 pick. ie andre drummond trumps al jefferson due to age and contract, trade it to kings for their unprotected next year and a future protected 1st. etc

Yes. As things stand I don't see a player worthy of a number 1 pick.

So I would field offers. If a suitable one comes in, pull the trigger. If Cho can't get the value he's looking for, then you pick your favoured player.

I just don't see a franchise changing player in this draft.

    Exactly.

    There's no way to tell.

Yeah I meant should we look to trade it, obviously depends on the offers. But yes, probably a good idea to make a list of potential players we could get with the 1 pick. Hard to tell now though...

We got to come away from this draft with either Baz or McLemore. If we can trade down and still do that great.

I don't think that there's one HAVE to have player in this years' draft like Davis last year, so you listen to offers. If Shabazz is going first, but you can trade down to four or five to get McLemore and another first-rounder? Sure, I'd think about that. I also think it's foolish to think that because there isn't that one sure thing Charlotte NEEDS to move the pick. Sometimes you just have to pick a guy number one knowing he's not going into the hall of fame in thirty years.

McLemore is going top 3. He is in discussion as being the best SG along with Bazz.

The bigs in this draft are very weak. So Baz and Ben will be some of the first ppl drafted.

Things change between January and the draft, it's not outlandish to say that a guy might slip one or two spots depending on how the next six months pan out. People jump up and people slip every season.
