I do think it was great how well the Bobcats organization embraced the 'swarm', showing them repeatedly on the Jumbotron to show their appreciate for such 'loyal' and dedicated fans...whoops, that didn't happen did it? Maybe next time the organizers choose a section to buy tickets it is one that MJ can actually see from his suite.
I appreciate the Hornet fans that showed up, they absolutely were hoping for a Bobcats win just like the Cat fans in the arena, I just find it incredibly ironic they choose the Kings game to do it at in lieu of their pending departure to Seattle (and yes, I know the Hornets movement organizers chose the date long before the Kings owners decided last week would be the week they would strike a deal).
I look at http://www.bulletsforever.com/ and they seem to be doing just fine.
Don't be confused.
I'm a former Bobcats season ticket holder and after I personally had lunch with Bob Johnson and heard his views on Charlotte and a few other things, I decided that I didn't want to be a season ticket holder anymore and I have never re-upped. The name of the team is not why I no longer purchase season tickets.
I still attend games each season. I met with a Bobcats season ticket rep this summer and considered purchasing tickets again but, in the end I decided against it for personal reasons ( My wife had our 2nd Child in September and I thought it would be unfair to leave her alone 41 times with a newborn)..
I'm considering buying season tickets next year- regardless of the name.
