Default Dear lord this box is ugly

Just clicked on the box score for the ATL game tonight.

And I see our starters with this (points) with 2 min left in the game.

    2
    2
    8
    11
    6

    Da fuq?!?!?

That has to be the most pitiful thing I have ever saw. Thats bad after 1 quarter, much less 2 min left in the 4th.

One of our worst games IMO. I saw a shot of Jordon in his seat in the 2nd quarter and he was just sitting there slightly shaking his head "no" over and over. Bet he didn't stay down there long.

I felt the same way. Pitiful effort and boneheaded play all around.

We should just fire the coach. This season has been shameful. Getting blownout almost every game.

We have the pieces to atleast keep things respectable, esp with a PG like Kemba that can get into the lane at will and create shots for people.

At the very least we'd have the house packed every night with rowdy fans

We really don't get smacked around for 20+ that often.

Also, we do not have the pieces - this is currently a fundamentally broken team. You simply cannot play conventional defense with the bigs that we have.

Sitting in the arena last night watching the game reminded me that last season the game would have been much worse! We actually put points on the board thanks to MKG, BG, and Kema. Our 3 point defense was atrocious. Korver was going to hit that baseline 3 all night if we let him. But I'm looking at the glass half full. I DO see progress in our team and I trust that Cho & Co will make some moves before the trade deadline or in free agency. If we don't extend QO to Byron or Hendo and let Warrick walk then we are ~$30mm under the LT excluding exceptions as our roster stands now. (Even more if we amnesty TT's punk ass) That's a lot of room for signings! So look on the bright side fellow Cat fans!

I thought the effort was extremely lacking and Kemba especially seemed slack on both sides of the ball. I think I've come to expect more out of him so when it appears he's not giving full effort it pisses me off.

Guys overall weren't moving without the ball and the bigs seemed to have an especially hard time just catching the damn thing.

At least Biz's offensive goal tend didn't look like it was going in this time.

And no, I don't blame Dunlap. To me effort is on the players and esp. for a team that has lost so many at home. I hope MJ chewed some asses after the game last night.
