Default Kemba and MKG named to NBA Rising Stars Game

It will be nice to see them both play on the national stage.

    Kemba should be Rondo's replacement.

They already named Lopez his replacement.

Not that it matters much, but which guys would start over Kemba? Irving and Wall are pretty obvious but would Rubio or Lin or anyone else start or get more PT than Kemba?

Well you have to remember, it's not rookies vs sophomores anymore. The players are drafted onto teams, so it's a mix of both on both teams.

I was looking at the wrong roster btw. I was looking at 2012 rosters. But I would imagine Irving and Lillard would be on different teams. I don't think any of the other guys would get more PT than Kemba though.

Rubio isn't in the game and Irving might not be since he's in the ASG. Even if he is in the Rising Stars game, he won't play too much. And I'd say Kemba is having a better year than Wall and Lin, but he doesn't have the same hype those guys have so it's hard to tell.

Depending on how the teams are picked, he should get a healthy dose of minutes either way

On the other hand; Shaq has not much big men, so I presume he'll play small ball time to time.

Really dumb way to construct the teams with randomly assigning 4 guys at the end. I found it to be insulting to Kemba... And unless one of the guys in front of him are playing in the All-Star game on Sunday, I doubt he sees the floor much. Really stupid.

randomly assigning the last 4 guys was probably necessary to allow for public picking. no professional and certainly no professional all star wants to be picked last.
