Detroit are definitely treadmill heroes, with stars of the 8th seed in their eyes. Calderon is going to help them a lot because playing Knight, Bynum, and Stuckey as PGs was forcing a square peg in a round hole. His awful defense isn't that big of a problem with Drummond and Monroe and Maxiell behind him to clean up his mess. It is a definite possibility that we might end up with their pick this year, which would be a shame.

My thoughts/fears exactly. From the reports I read I'd much rather get Detroit's, and Portland's for that matter, pick in 2014.

There was a good point made that Sessions is at the top of his value, so maybe it would make sense to trade him. It's not like we're going anywhere with him on the roster. I would say Utah would be VERY interested in bringing Sessions in and you would have to think that Boston would to.

If we did a deal with Boston, I would most certainly want Sullinger out of the deal. He has shown to be a reliable rebounder pulling down nearly 6 rebounds in just 19 minutes. However, I just don't think that is equal value for Sessions and we would have to get something else out of the deal. I wouldn't be surprised if Boston tried to pawn Courtney Lee or Brandon Bass on us. A Sullinger/Lee for Sessions trade would work out money wise.

As far as Utah goes, I am sure a deal would center around Burks and would have to include a throw-in like Jeremy Evans. I would also send Utah a 2nd rounder if we could get a future 1st along with it.

    Just a couple of ideas.

If Drummond and Monroe are the guys that Detroit thinks they are, bringing in Calderon is a really good move. They were just running three combo guards (Knight, Stuckey, Bynum) at point, so have an actual distributor on the team should do wonders for Drummond and Monroe(who's been struggling a little bit figuring out how to play with another true big). Just having a guy to space the floor with three-point shooting and throw great entry passes is huge.

Also, I maintain that trading Sessions and filler for Bargnani would do wonders for MKG's offense(and the teams' offense as well).
