Also, I'm curious about combo guard Marcus Smart as a roster fit. Gordon could be gone within a year. I Don't know what is going to happen with Sessions. Henderson could be gone soon. Kemba is not yet a full-on distributing PG.
Since we have a similar thread for bigs that has been useful, I thought I'd start one for the wing players. The Bobcats have less of a need for a wing player, but we need a star above anything else, and that might have to involve grabbing a wing in this draft.
I guess we could start off with McLemore vs. Shabazz. I assume this has been covered elsewhere........Does anybody have a fresh take on these two??

Smart is intriguing but he'd be a reach anywhere we draft, assuming we don't get the PDX pick. Plus, I hate short shooting guards. (but, but, 6'4" is not that short, Wade is that tall, shut up, he is not Wade).
I still like Muhammad better. He looks like he'd be a go-to guy. A poor man's star but a star nonetheless. McLemore is an awesome complementary player but I'm not sure he can be better than that. We have enough complementary players, I don't want to wait 2-3 years for McLemore to grow a pair and look for his shot like we did with Hendo.
I still really like Poythress as a project. He's more of a 3 than a 4 I think, which convolutes our SF spot with MKG there.
Otto Porter should be a solid player. He's a scrappy, high energy hustle guy that's always moving. He reminds me of Tayshaun Prince w/o the jumpshot. W/o a J, he'd be useless next to MKG.
Glenn Robinson III is similar to Poythress in that he has a great NBA body now and would play MKG's position. But he's a solid all-round player with really good potential.
My man-crush is on Victor Oladipo. Decent 2-guard size, Tony Allen-esque defense, much improved range, finishes in traffic well, ball hawk on the boards and in passing lanes and has good but not great hops. Probably slept on b/c he's a junior, but with so many kittens on the roster already, it makes sense to get a seasoned college guy. Speaking of which, I'd rather have him than Jeff Taylor, I'll say that much.
I'm reallytorn on Shabazz vs Mclemore......Shabazz has the length advantage.....both are good jumpshooters....Shabazz's motor is really good he fits the mold of the players we're trying to bring in here...Mclemore is more athletic though and both are good transition finishers...idk i wouldn't mind either one but yeah you're right dave muhammad feels like he has more go to guy potential than mclemore
