Rather than spend big money on Pek, I'd rather throw reasonable money at Oden. If he passes a physical exam and our docs think his knee is OK, he'd be the starter at Center and be very motivated.

    ew no thanks.

I'm not throwing anything less than minimum money at Oden and I most certainly will not pass on someone like Pek for a guy who has only managed to play a TOTAL of 82 games in what should be his fifth year in the league.

I've never seen Hickson put up some of the monster games that Pek has. Hickson is also not really a center, which we need and Pek is. I look at it like this: several rebuilding teams who needed good bigs have already let Hickson walk out of town for nothing. If he was really that good i don't see it happening. Either he's a bad locker room guy,or he's putting up some heavy numbers in garbage time. There has to be more to it. I don't have any proof of this. It's just something i would be curious to know the whole story about. Either way, i think Pek has a way higher ceiling. And there's no way i would throw big money @ a 6'9 guy playing out of position to be our center.

April Fool's Day already? Oden is done. Pekovic is a man-beast.

Did his legs magically become the same length? B/c I'm not throwing any money at a guy with one leg longer than the other, the source of all his knee injuries.
