Stayed overnight at Houston hospital for a concussion. Team flew out for next game on Monday. Last update I have seen.
What happened? Did he look okay when he left the floor? It was a late tip off last night so I missed the 4th quarter...

Hopefully they sit him for 2 weeks and through the All -Star break.
It was obvious that he had hit the rookie wall and the extended break will help him recharge his body.
I'm just glad it was nothing serious to his neck. ( not saying a concussion isn't serious)

I agree JGib! At first I thought it might be more serious due to the headlines but I hope he sits for a bit, I think not playing all star weekend would do him good as well

I have to agree also. It would good for him to rest and recharge. Also it gives Taylor and Gordon more pt. Good time to audition Gordon and maybe Hendo before trade deadline.

Mad MKG's missing the rising stars challenge. Glad he's okay thought, his mom tweeted that he's okay.
I forgot about the all star challenge, would have been nice for him and Kemba to rep for the team.

I'm tempted to say shut him down for the rest of season until he learns a real jump shot, but I realize this is completely unrealistic and we want him to gain experience.
We know we are commited to MKG. We have to figure out who else to be commited to.
He will be a guy who plays hard, but he is not a jaw-dropping athlete, so he's gotta get that shooting form down if he wants a long career.
Yeeesh. Had flashbacks to various Crash injuries that he went through over the years that required the stretcher. Thankfully it was only a concussion (I've had two of them, so feel I can say "only") and nothing more severe. Like Jgib said, this is the perfect opportunity to rest him for a couple weeks.
As for the All Star thing, maybe get JT to replace him so we still have 2 Cats there? Think he's more than deserving.
