To me, this article brings to mind some of the material from the book Fingerprints of the Gods where they discuss the possibility of multiple civilizations that have reached at least our level of advancement existing and dieing out on earth many times over.

What are your thoughts?

I have a feeling that it's going to quietly come out a year from now that they botched the aging process.

I don't think much of it; I'm sure of it that at some time there must have been a relatively civilized species on earth, but in order to create and use those specific tools they had to be similar to humans. I think it's most unlikely that's the case, due to the lack off evidence.

This is a thread I can appreciate. They find these out of.place artifacts all the time. Honestly the only answer not including aliens or our planet colliding with another planet is time travel. Maybe 200 yrs from now they can travel back because they want to study the earth during its early days. Like most humans they litter or leave stuff then 300 milliin yrs later we are all confused
