I haven't watched more than 6-7 games in their entirety this season, but I've followed most of them, and I haven't been disappointed at all. We're supposed to lose, the kids are supposed to get better, and that's exactly what's happening. I don't know if the 7-5 mirage made you guys think this team was good, but that's not even close to the story. All the "veterans" are here because they were gift-wrapped to us in some form (Haywood was amnestied. Gordon's LOTTERY team was so happy to get rid of him they added in a lucrative first rounder. Diop came for Matt Carroll and Ryan Hollins and hasn't done anything since. Hakim Warrick came for Carroll, who was promptly waived.) Henderson is mediocre on a good day, and the young guys are all developing, outside of MKG, who because of that concussion could be a wash the rest of this season. And oh by the way, this team already has 13 wins...wasn't everyone predicting a max of 25 in the preseason? The best player on the team is 5'10 and in his first full season...
Phil fucking Jackson wouldn't have more than 20 wins right now.
Thank you Teej, thank you.

STARTING AT FOOOORWARD...6'8"..Tyr......wait...Dom..who the fuck?
Thanks for the cute response.
It's just my opinion that was cultivated through growing up in the south where, whether you like it or not, things are different from most other parts of the nation.
That opinion is that you listen to those above you. It doesn't matter how old you are or what your role is in the organization. Don't have to like them or respect them, but you still do what you're told.
I'd love to hear your reasoning as to why the yes sir no sir concept is a) antiquated and b) not successful today

^ That's because in the South if you smart mouthed back to an elder you'd get the shit slapped out of you by your Mama right then and there.
God bless those dear Southern women...they knew how to raise 'em right.

"Don't make me drive all the way down to Columbia just to beat that smart ass of yours!"
I find it crazy that somebody could say you can't tell somebody what to do, ESPECIALLY in the South. That's just mind boggling

Felton for Prez (02-21-2013)
I've had some basketball coaches that I should have told to STFU. That's one of the problems with the South and world in general, people getting respect that have no business being respected in the first place.
i'm not sure what to think of Dunlap to be honest, he came to the worst team in NBA history.

My Article on Anthony Bennett http://sportsclt.com/charlotte-bobca...-bobcats-at-4/
In my opinion last season at this time when our Bobcats got dominated it was in large part due to a lack of effort. I really don't think that for the most part we can say that about this Dunlap coached Bobcats team. The effort appears to be there more often than not even when the team loses by 20+ on occasion. Usually those type of losses happen against the best teams in the league as one would expect.
Ben Gordon is not squat on this team other than a rich diva who is contributing little in the way of production or leadership. He may not like the situation he is in but he is more than well paid and he should bide his time and make the most of his situation. I know if I was paid what he is paid I could take a lot of s&^% off of people.
In other words the Ben Gordon incident should hardly be an indictment on coach Dunlap.
The verdict is still to be made in my opinion as to how good a job coach Dunlap has done with this team. As of now I would give coach Dunlap a solid B.
