Wanted him to become a Bobcat last summer. He fits Dunlap's style, as he runs the floor very well in transition. And, he's a beast on the offensive glass, and has a good touch on putbacks. I suspect Cho has a little more to add to this trade, like dumping Tyrus Thomas...

If they take Tyrus i'll kiss your bare ass on skpe for the entire forum to see. There's a better chance of me walking out of my front door and getting hit in the forehead with a meteor right now than Brooklyn taking him in that deal! lol.

why would you want to extend him past next year? no thanks. i would require them to throw us marshon brooks. hump doesn't play and is over paid. at least gordon plays for us and will play for them. we have the upper hand here.

I just think Hump is being misused in Brooklyn. If we're gonna miss on the #1 pick this season by acquiring him and pass up a shot @ milsap, west, clark or hickson as free agent 4's as well as pass on Bennett in the draft, i want want to know that we have him for more than 1 full season to evaluate him with our team before he expects the team to break the bank on a new contract. And for the record: Bigs are always overpaid in the NBA. It's just a sports fact of life.

I'd love to get Humphries would definately help with our frontcourt woes...scoring and rebounding wise....maybe Cho can get us a pick or marshon brooks as well...who knows

I actually just checked and Gordon and Adrian For Brooks and Humphries comes pretty close. We might have to eat about about 200k but it would make sense for both sides.Gordon makes more than Humphries by 400k and Brooks makes about 300k more than Adrian. It also clears a spot at the 2 on their roster for Gordon and clears a spot on ours @ the 4 for Humphries. That way we'd be in a great position this off season. If we drafted Noel we could keep Hendo with Brooks or let hendo walk and go after Mayo. If we drafted Muhammed, we could simply let Hendo walk, still have another good back up on a rookie deal, and go after Pekovic or Jefferson in free agency. And it totally gives us plenty of money for the future when it's time to resign guys. I like it!

Gordon has a hard contract to trade, even if he is an expiring. You either have to take a big salary guy or multiple mid sized contracts, so there will never be that many options when trading Gordon. Hump would be a good piece to add long term, every team needs someone like him I reckon
