what are you guys watching? throughout the season Gordon has proven he cant pass, cant dribble, has no basketball IQ, and guns shots. hes a streaky scorer. we have no and i mean NO inside socring. Humprhies is good for 12 and 12 if he started on a team. i pray we do this deal and if we get brooks it would be great. Also are you serious about Diop for Gortat? really??

That doesn't work. If you threw in sessions and brooks then the nets would be taking on an extra 5 million dollars in this deal. And since they are already up against the luxury tax, it would cost them 10 million at the end of the year. The only thing i found that works money wise with brooks involved is gordon/adrian for humphries/brooks. I would throw in the portland or detroit pick if we had to because i realize that brooks has talent and they would prefer not to part with him.
And why would we throw in sessions anyway? He's one of the best back up point guards in the league right now and has a reasonable contract. He's gonna have legit value around draft time or as part of a sign and trade down the road. You don't build contenders by just tossing away assets.

It seems we approached BKN about the swap. If so we aren't getting more than a straight up trade.

...and I'm PERFECTLY fine with that.

I have no problem with straight up either. We have 2 first rounders this year, 2 next year, and if we simply sign Hendo and Mully to QO's then we'll have as much as 25 million in expiring contracts next year as well. If Cho can't work with that then we have a problem! lol.

Oh and their fans seem to have really soured on Brooks. They're actually discussing adding in Brooks for Warrick!

As much as I love the guy (LOL not really!) I'd grudgingly make those additions to the trade.

Fans might think that way, but Brooklyn's FO doesn't.

I was only saying that cuz I can't stand Sessions. Everytime he touches the ball I cringe. Then when he fails to make the open pass, misses an open jumpshot (if he takes it at all), or botches a wide open layup (at least 1 per game....2 last night), I get pissed and scream at the computer.

...but what was their record? I'm just saying that Humphries might show a little muscle and hustle in the paint, but his style of play won't translate to victories.

Probably not a good argument to make
