The cheering was one thing. I was handling that decently and still holding out a tiny nut hair's width of false hope for our final play. Once I heard those MVP chants through the TV and saw the gargantuan LA crowd ejaculating all over the arena clapping and jumping and holding up yellow jerseys... I seriously felt a level of hopelessness and embarrassment so sever it almost physically hurt.

    It was un fucking believable.

Everyone knows that I'm pro- name change and I know the Hornets chants pissed some people off but, that shit tonight has my blood boiling.

We have the worst fan base in the history of sports.

I bet the crowd was 70-80% Lakers tonight...the section I am in is right near the Bobcats tunnel and as far as I could see in my section was Lakers gear.. It was everywhere.

If we aren't any better than this we don't deserve a fucking team...

    I'm so pissed right now.

Chanting MVP for a fucking opponent...are you serious?

Yeah, it was the MVP chant that really sent it over the top for me. Like I said, we've heard cheers for opposing teams before, but never do I recall the crowd chanting MVP for an opposing player. That was just another level... I still can't believe it.

it makes my blood boil knowing all the season ticket holders whoi sold their tickets. they sold out on the team while me and my dad were verbally raped by fairweather/trash laker fans. its funny how they all act like they hang out with kobe on the wekkends, when he doesnt want to play for the first 3 quarters and couldnt give a shit less.

Me too. The "Lakers fan" beside me keep screaming - "Kobe, show em how we do" and I promise that the last court that fat fucker stepped on was a food court.

Sorry for my language but it's either that or kckinh my dog and I really love my dog.

If only they were wearing teal jerseys with hornets on it everyone would have cheered for us instead of the lakers, the team would have been super motivated and wed have won

    Not taking the bait...

But, I will point out that the jerseys said Charlotte for both home and away games.

Dunlap is a dumbass. MKG was playing his best game in a while and takes him out and he put Sessions on Kobe? This shit isn't rocket science. I agree this was an awful night to be a Cat fan, but we have a lot of those. Fuck Kobe, hate his ass. Lakers got so many calls down the stretch but there was NO excuse in losing this game. I keep saying that one day supporting this team is going to be worth it it but I just don't know, if something doesn't change how much longer can we hold onto this team? It's embarrassing to have so many Laker fans in the area god I hate them. And just wait if/when the team starts winning, they'll slowly start falling to our bandwagon once Kobe leaves. It shouldn't work this way.
