So obviously I think we all want Monroe off that team, but I doubt we have the ammo to send out.... Hendo, the pick they owe us, the PDX pick and maybe something like Bismack. My question is can Monroe and Drummond exist as a permanent core of that team since they are both centers, or can one slide to the PF spot and play as a PF while the other is a C? On paper, it looks like they have a re-birth of Duncan/Robinson or Hakeem/Sampson there in Motown.....pretty awesome building blocks.

oh i can think of the one thing i would want. i would send hendo over, take back a little salary in exchange for removing protections on the pick for next year. top 1 protected. next year's draft is that important.

Yep - they can just wait and make him an offer this summer.

We don't have a 2nd round pick this year so, I would be open to trading him for a 2nd round pick and removing the restrictions on next years 1st rounder that they owe us. That would allow them to have the right to the QO and they can match any offer he recieves and gives them the option of giving him the 5th year on his deal.
