Where exactly did you get that paper from? They are going to be good, but thus far I've seen 0 indication of any hall of fame-esque duo forming in front of me. I agree that they are the core of Detroit right now. If we could get Jerbko or Maxiell plus some sort of pick or cash for Henderson, I'd be happy.

Monroe couldn't sniff Duncan's rookie numbers and the Admiral would embarrass Drummond on both sides of the floor.
They haven't shown anything remotely close to being a new age Robinson/Duncan.

I don't see a trade coming with Detroit. If they want to overpay Henderson in the off season more power to them. I would think they had learned there lesson with that by now.
I wouldn't be afraid to trade Hendo for something decent like a mid round pick. I wouldn't be afraid to let the contract play out either though. The team with bird rights is in the drivers seat.
If Detroit is willing to remove the protection on there pick I would try to get it totally unprotected and act like we have other offers to drive up the price. If another team trades for Hendo they won't want to lose him in free agency and would probably overpay. Besides, we already know we can screw Detroit in a trade!

This ^^^ I read the hoopsworld article too and they were basically saying that Hendo and Smith were Detroit's free agent wish list. And seeing as how there's no way Josh smith is going to sign with Detroit unless something crazy happens,i think they'll have plenty of money to throw at Hendo. I don't really care either way. I don't see Henderson being our future starter at the 2 anyway. It'll just save us the trouble of having to try and trade him after we signed him to a new deal that none of us would have liked! lol.
I still think Hendo would fit well for Indy. He could help them make a run . Hans for Hendo is what keeps coming to my mind.
Thanks Ammofan!
I wonder if Physco T and Hendo still don't like each other lol.
John Wall, C.J. Leslie, & Quincy Miller
Indy would be a horrible fit for Henderson. They have Granger,Stephenson,George, and Jones on the wings already and are going to have cap trouble on the horizon. Why would they want to sign someone to a long term deal like henderson who would potentially be 4th or 5th in their wing rotation. Makes zero sense. And if Henderson was good enough to help anyone make a playoff run we would have already been talking about locking him up long term.

Disagree , Hendo is perfect size to defend small quick twos ,,, WADE types . Granger has four size , George has three four size , Stepheson is a three . Guarding small quick twos is the only weakness Indy has. Plus Hans will never smell the floor when Granger comes back
Thanks Ammofan!
