Lets assume MJ had 4 months to get in shape
If he were to play today, what kind of numbers do you think he could put up? double digits?
Would he be guard anybody?
Could he successfully be a 15 minutes off the bench guy?

Without a doubt.
I believe he could even give you 20-25 minutes a game on the right team. Could you imagine the damage he could do on a team like OKC or Miami where people had to double team KD or Lebron? Maybe I'm being too optimistic but, on the right team, I think he could avg. close to 10 points a game.
I think where he would really shine would be in the playoffs when the game turns more half court grind it out type basketball. I'd love to see MJ work over today's SF's in the post with that baseline fadeaway.
I don't know but I'll tell you one thing, I'm not doubting him.
he would need to lose somewhere between 35-50 lbs, get into much much better shape and practice from now until next season to get into game shape. realistically he could really only get about 10-15 min per game and not play back to backs and probably not travel to all the away games. but yes, he could probably still be moderately effective on the right team. it really helps that there is so little hard fouling and hand checking too. he would have alot of trouble on defense because of the hand checking rule.
he could guard MKG
I'll be the pessimist here.
I don't think that there is anyway possible that he could do it. I think that even though he was the greatest of all time, he would never be able to get to the necessary level of agility that he would need to be effective. I also believe that his body would break down in the first 10 games.
50 years old is 50 years old and Father time is undefeated.
